  • Hope everyone had a very Happy Christmas and is looking forward to the New Year.

Quick question from me which I hope someone can help me with. I have been on the survey for the first time since October and everything has been plain sailing so far. However next week's schedule, week commencing 5th January, is totally different to any I have had before - lots of items to post - 6 as opposed to usual 2 or 3. All items have time slots for posting, e.g before 10am, between 10am and 1pm, after 1pm and before last collection and some are on the same day but with different time slots, so I have to go to the post office twice. This could cause me problems with fitting these things around work. Is this the norm and I have just been lucky so far or is this unusual, and if so, does anyone know why?

Thanks very much for your help.

Giving time windows for posting used to be usual but they said they were stopping doing that (because of the changes to post collection times/method at a number of post boxes). So reverting to the time windows is an error on their part. They should all now say "Before Last Collection".

So you can post as early in the designated day as you want as long as it is before the last scheduled collection time.

If you have something to be sent from a post office and something else using a post box on the same day, you can post both in the same if you want. (Of course if the post office item is one where you would have to hand it over the counter, you do need to do that!)
  • I had an email mid december to say i was being rested within the next 2 weeks. I kept receiving schedules to post which run right into the middle of January.
My problem is that RM requested my smarts to be returned before they broke for the break which i did, but because they then sent me 3 weeks worth of posting i now have no smarts to add. One is due to go tomorrow then 4 next week and 2 the week after and all needing smarts.
Obviously they are closed to the 5th which does not help me.
Funnily enough i did recieve a smart that i was going to use for my tomorrow schedule only to log on and find that one red and wanting it returned.
Please someone advise me whapt to do.

Thanks very much for your help, all previous survey stuff has said "before last collection" but when I was training, the sheets did include specific times which I did my best to follow.

If I don't follow the times indicated and I just do them all around the same time each day, do I enter the actual time posted or the time they requested when recording my sent items? I do enjoy doing this and don't want to pee anyone off and end up being removed :o

    Thanks again.

  • Always put the time you actually posted it. I usually post on my way to work or on my way back so it is usually 7.45 am or 5.15 pm. If i have to post from a post office I go out in my lunch hour. I never post twice in one day, if I have 2 or more on the schedule they all go in the same box at the same time.

General consensus previously has been just use it & ignore the request to return

I've just received an item but after I enter the SMART code, it shows FuHil8F.png

    Clicked next, then:
    6lqGVyy.png

    Done this three times now.

edit: the second item I received today has the exact same problem!
