How would you categorise Christmas cards which are put in the letterbox, by neighbours?

They have our names, but no address - Unaddressed surveys?
They are correctly delivered, but not by Royal Mail.

Am currently doing both type of surveys and undecided where they belong.

They are addressed - to the named individuals.

The Unaddressed survey is about items which are not addressed in any identifiable way. It is also known as the D2D (for Door to Door) survey because it is about things which are probably delivered to every household in a locality.

I have received an invitation and wanted to check how much time you spend daily/weekly for this? Might be a bit daft question but I work full time and worried that it would be too much work and I might fail to deliver.

I certainly found it easy to fit in while doing a full-time job.

Actually posting the items just fitted into my normal life - taking a walk, getting to work, lunchtime stroll, etc.

Preparing the items for posting may take longer when you first begin because you are not familiar with how it works - but it certainly takes no more than an hour a week whatever number of items you have to prepare.

Similarly, recording items received and items posted doesn't take long, even if you weren't going to be online for any other purpose and most of us are.

The key to this is whether you live/work within wasy distance of at least one postbox and one post office with a postbox and counter facilities.
These both need to be located in the same general postcode area as your home address where the survey post will also be delivered to(for eg if your home address is located in AB1 and your preferred postboxes are also located in the area code AB then thats fine...however if your preferred boxes are in AC then you may need to think about how or if you can fit the panel requirements around your existing ...)

With regard to preparing and logging ltems its no longer than 30 mins a week spread over the week.
You are only required to undertake posting and receiving for 6 months at a time and can request to not be reconsidered after the first stint if you find it too much intrusion to your daily life...why not give it a go and see how you get on ....theres no obligation to do it if you feel that you are doing more than you think the stamps as incentive are worth to you.

The paperwork takes me 10-20 minutes per week. This includes
    • peeling off sticky labels and putting them on A4 sheets
    • Stuffing a handful of envelopes with these A4 sheets
    • doing the same with packets and/or boxes - possibly a couple per week
    • receiving similar things from other panellists
    • logging despatched and received items online
As for the actual posting, it depends on how far you are from a postbox and/or Post Office.

I'm retired and have a dog to walk so the time taken for the last bit is pretty irrelevant to me.

I work 60 hours a week and have no issues with fitting posting into my day - i post on my way to work usually and they havent complained.

Prepping the items takes me 10 mins if that

  • Diary & stamps arrived today!

Diary isn't TNS branded (just plain black & pocket size) so has been wrapped up as an extra pressie for my Dad as I know I wouldn't use it.

I also got the diary and stamps yesterday, I thought I wasn't getting them as I only finished my latest 6 month stint in November :)
