I e-mailed recently and was advised of the following;
Diaries are being dispatched up until the second week of January. If you have not received one by then to let them know.0 -
Was surprised to receive my diary and Christmas stamps last week. Today I received my first training pack. (third time of training for me) and inside was another pack of 12 1st class stamps. I don't remember receiving them before when I've been "on training"0

It is standard to issue stamps at the beginning of training (though I think the 12 regular 1st and 4 large 1st). But no more stamps until you begin the survey proper no matter how many weeks you are "in training" before being stood down or put on survey proper.
Happy Christmas!

I have finally received the diary. This year is just plain black, I will get used to it. So really grateful for this, I know it is not much but so useful.
Regarding the crime survey:

From reading the FAQ about the crime survey it looks like it is unpaid?
If so I'd not take part, TNS will be doing this survey under contract to the Government and will be making a profit!
I work on the basis of my time costs money (stamps or vouchers will do!).0 -
