Yeah there is a post box quite near to the post office I just thought when it states where to post & it says 'post office' I assumed you had to hand it over the counter.
Ive done both when it states take into a post office and have never had anything back to say differently.

The PO are really good and never question even a letter being handed over however sometimes there is a queue and last week about 10 deep no way Im i standing there to hand over a jiffy or letter that can fit into a post box, the incentives arnt that great esp when I drove 2 miles there and 2 miles back and took about 5 minutes for parking spot because it was tiping down with rain.

Oh just to add the postman collects from the post box outside then collects from inside the post office. Ok different mail bags but both go off in the van at the same time. Same as times you post, all gets jumbled up in the post bag on collection so I dont think it matters what time you post in the day if you only have one collection of mail what differnce does it make.

The only things that go into the Post Office are items, which do not fit in the box outside or inside.

Oh thank you it will do that next time. Wouldn't you think they would say on the sheet 'post at post box nearest to post office'.

It does on their FAQ and using the box outside the Post Office is their preferred option.

I had an note with the coming weeks posting asking me to return all samrt tags even if not listed to be returned. I have none listed to be returned and the system won't let me select any for return.

Do I just use what I need for this week and just send all the rest back?

I have been on a break for months and now back to posting - am so pleased this forum is here - thanks everyone!
I was baffled by the £4 love to shop vouchers that I received to post a parcel - and although I did have instructions in the pack it has made much more sense reading it on here........so - I have had £4 vouchers to pay for posting a parcel at £3.20 and then will receive a further £2 voucher after posting.
Also I say to the post office - it is a sample of foam!! As a regular ebayer with lots of items to post I am sure this one will baffle the staff the most, they will think I sold it on ebay!!!

You don't, of course, volunteer the information about it being a sample of foam. You only say that if asked what it contains. If they have a list of prohibited items (as they are meant to have), then you can just confirm that it is not on the banned list.

    Hi

Best to use what you need and keep the rest until the system ask you to return them.

But that's not what TNS have gone to the trouble of requesting the poster does.

Online it is not possible for a panellist to select a Smart to be returned (unless it is already marked for return) but if they are sent to TNS the people there should be able to amend the list.

Received my next batch of postings for w/c Monday 14th April and they had included a small box of Cadbury's Mini Eggs as an Easter treat! :)
I got these too; my grandson (3) was delighted! :EasterBun
