If I add extra postboxes to the list of postboxes I use, (currently only a sub post office and the post box in the street outside that post office), do TNS specify which location to use when posting items, or do they still just indicate "post box" or "post office" on the posting schedule?

I currently have 35 postboxes registered on the system in the live list and reserve list. I have never been asked to post at a certain one in 3 years it always says postbox and post office.

This week, i am starting the 3 week Unaddressed Mail Survey for the second time but i have not received any plastic envelopes to send the leaflets back to them.

Has the process now changed? I have just read the PDF attachment on the email and there is no mention of returning the leaflets each Monday, just that I need to enter the amount of leaflets received and to check them against the images etc.

It seems quite random. I've done the Unaddressed Survey several times and I've never been asked to return anything to them.

    Hi

I'm doing the same Unaddressed Mail Survey and haven't been asked to return the leaflets.

So at the moment you are listing only one post office (TNS would count the post box outside as being for a post office) and no regular post boxes.

TNS do not specify which box or PO to use. As you know it has to be within your post code area (TN or CV etc).

However, though it might be nice to post in the place according to the schedule, you can post in either a postbox or PO postbox.

I was quite surprised when I found that I could post at ANY post box within the postcode area, DH in my case. I quite expected that it would need to be within a more defined area, DH1, DH2, etc.

As I have not been on the panel very long, I haven't needed to post anywhere other than my nearest post box. That box is just outside the post office a couple of hundred metres from my home. I will get round to adding more locations eventually, but did not want to do so if TNS were likely to specify that a particular location was to be used.

Hi I am also doing my second unaddressed mail survey too. They have sent me the usual plastic envelopes and labels with instructons to post them back each monday for the 3 consecutive weeks. Still waiting for my L2S vouchers for the first one, which ended about a month ago.

from my understanding your to post in the actual area ur in, eg my postal area covers upto 50 miles,eg EX is Devon based code - so EX7 is Dawlish, Dawlish Warren (south Devon), yet EX22 is nr Holsworthy (north Devon) about 50 miles away. x
