After receiving two Smarts today
I've just been putting them into my packages ready, and realised that the R number on the stickers didn't match up to the poster numbers on my schedule so I wrote it above the printed R-number on both stickers ready to go inside. I sealed the items up & thought I was all done. Until... I decided to read the FAQ's and read that the numbers actually don't need to match at all. Do you think by writing the the poster number above the printed R**** number on the sticker, will it go against me with still doing the training?
You will be fine.0 -
When I posted the last jiffy it already had two stamps on to the value of £3.20, at the post office the man said there's far to much postage on that item, he said look it fits through this slot so do you not want to send it this way as it will cost u less. I just had to make an excuse & say 'oh I had a faulty item to send back to a company I purchased from so they sent me the jiffy & put the stamps on so I just have to return it to the'. Luckily he said 'oh well if they are paying then just send it like it is, but it's a shame because it wouldn't cost that much to post'. Think I'll try another post office next time!0

Be glad you got two. I'm retraining and have been sent a SMART that had been previously processed. Sending it back next week.
Is the smart you mention labelled AEDB?
If it is, that appears to be what they are using for all of the training smarts, and you may need it for something else you have to send off.0 -

All items that fit should always be sent in the postbox. if the schedule states "Post Office" then use the Postbox just outside the post office whenever possible.0 -

Hi
I have two SMARTS for next weeks posting. TNS told me to send it back.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
I have just received my pack this morning (with mini eggs too!) and it mentions a new way of posting parcels. Says I need to pay and they will refund me with vouchers, but my box already has stamps on it!
As your box is stamped just post it in the usual way. If they had sent you one to be sent in the new way with you paying for the postage by APL, you would have received L2S vouchers with the other papers to cover the cost.0 -
Ive done both when it states take into a post office and have never had anything back to say differently.
The PO are really good and never question even a letter being handed over however sometimes there is a queue and last week about 10 deep no way Im i standing there to hand over a jiffy or letter that can fit into a post box, the incentives arnt that great esp when I drove 2 miles there and 2 miles back and took about 5 minutes for parking spot because it was tiping down with rain.
Oh just to add the postman collects from the post box outside then collects from inside the post office. Ok different mail bags but both go off in the van at the same time. Same as times you post, all gets jumbled up in the post bag on collection so I dont think it matters what time you post in the day if you only have one collection of mail what differnce does it make.0 -

Post Office marked on a letter/jiffybag means the box either inside or outside the Post Office... not handing it over...
I don't have to queue at my PO to hand parcels over, they have a side which you just leave them on lol0
