I was unable to get through on the phone so sent an email yesterday to let them know, but have not had a reply.
I doubt if the package will now be delivered to me, but if it is do I wait until next week to send all of the items (there were supposed to be 3 on Monday, 1 on Wednesday and 1 on Friday) or do I send what I can on the correct days of this week and the remainder on the same days next week?
After reading the FAQ I am of the opinion that I should hold them all back to next week.
No, you treat each item as a separate entity.
So if you receive the week's pack in time to prepare only the Friday item to make the last collection on 7 March, post it then. Any received too late to post this week, move to next week.
Sometimes, unexpectedly, you may have to miss just one posting day in a week, you still post the other items due that week.0 -
Ive never really had much problem with the panel but I do conceed that my last 2 posting packs have both contained errors...whether thats because the people that prepare them are inundated with queries thats its impacting on what they send out ive no idea....but certainly the standard of diligence seems to be slghtly wide of the mark at the moment....however a quick email to them and hopefully it will be sorted out before my posting is due next week
The standard of what I receive from other panelists ranges substantially too...and usually not a week goes by where something is a little adrift shall we say...
Many of the errors that do occur could be easily ommitted if new panelists, and indeed returning panelists were to read the training section and the private panellist guide that is sent out....its not the greatest story I know but it really does contain the basic infomation to get everyone posting in a correct and timely fashion.
The postal panel isnt designed to be a chore...and if as such you feel it is then maybe its not for you...but there are some like me who actually still feel that the stamps are worth it!
I think they may well have cut back on the number of people they employ in West Bromwich. Did you notice in a recent mailing which included a leaflet about the organisation that though there were a number of named "teams" most people appeared in more than one team.0 -
I received the e-mail last week regarding paying up front for the postage of parcels and receiving L2S vouchers in exchange.
I replied stating that I was not prepared to pay up front in return for vouchers which have fairly limited use and they have replied to say they will remove me from the panel.
Just so you know if anyone really wants to remain on the panel, it does not look like you can opt out of the parcel surveys.0 -
you can post anytime that day as long as it is before last collection .. You will get queried if you post on a wrong day esp if you have added a smartgroovyleapyear wrote: »Hi
. The only thing is I have noticed that next week I need to send one item between 10-1 and another (cube) after 1pm but before final collection. Are you penalised if this is sent on the wrong day or at the wrong time, or is it a case of trying to post as close to the time as possible and just entering the information honestly on the site.
Can you not get someone ..friend / relation to post the cube / box for you in the post office in your postcode area on the day you cant make it0 -
Thanks for letting us know i recieved the email regarding the vouchers as payment this morning and wondered about that ..theri will be a few panelists who are on a tight budget and might not be able to pay cash upfront for Postage at the PO .. i can use the vouchers in iceland and argo's or save them for christmas/ birthdaysstormbreaker wrote: »I received the e-mail last week regarding paying up front for the postage of parcels and receiving L2S vouchers in exchange.

Nothing to do with a tight budget - simply that I'm not prepared to convert my cash into vouchers that can only be used in shops I rarely use, just to suit TNS.
This, coupled with TNS's total incompetence, is likely to cause me to leave this scheme. Just too much of a time waster for the small amount it brings in. Keep waiting to be 'rested' but it hasn't happened in more than 2 years, so time to leave, I think.0 -
I was just going to say, I'm not on a tight budget but I sure as won't be doing it, and if I get one to do, I will send back the vouchers stating I won't be posting it, because my original agreement upon joining the panel didn't involve using your own money.0

I may be in the minority but i'm actually looking forward to getting the L2S vouchers as I will save them all up for Christmas, the parcels to post are only a couple of pound a time and it sounds like there will only be a small amount to do so won't really notice the cost but will notice a pile of vouchers to spend at Christmas

On a similar note, I have been on the panel for nearly a year now, but have never had an invite to a survey, is there somewhere I need to apply or sign up for them please?StayHome * StaySafe * BeKind0 -

It is just very random. For the unaddressed their will be a invite sent by email. For the correctly delivered you will get a invite on your home page.0
