82much, do you never send any parcels anywhere?
I've used up a lot of my large letter stamps to send parcels second class - you just use the face value of them to make up whatever amount you need.
Ditto with small ebay parcels.
Also even some larger birthday cards fall into large letter stamp size.
Or I have also used them on posting bundles of used stamps off to charity places.0 -
I wanted to send a recorded delivery parcel a couple of weeks ago, using postal stamp incentives from TNS. The PO attendant almost insisted that I use their own recorded delivery stamps.
It was only when I told her that I was dog walking and hadn't brought any cash out with me that she allowed me to use my own stamps! Never had any problems using them before.0 -
I've just received my posting pack for this week and one of items is a block of foam. I'm guessing it needs to go into the 'Small Box' but it doesn't say anywhere.
Is someone able to confirm or advise please?
Thanks0 -
Yes, the foam goes into the small box.0

The only instructions I've received have been very vague.
You "log SMARTs" by reporting that they have been received in items sent by private or commercial panellists, not those sent to you direct by TNS. When TNS send them to you directly they add them to your "Stock" even before you receive them.0 -
Judging by the new paper schedules i would assume the following:
Packet is now Jiffy Bag
Small Box is now Cube
And the following additional types have been added as 3D parcels (not sure if these are yet in use though?)
CD/DVD Box & Large Box
HTH
TNS are now saying,We will shortly be introducing two new item types to the survey:
- A Medium Parcel (270mm x 170mm x 170mm)
- A CD/DVD Box
- The Packet will now be called a Jiffy Bag
- The Small Box will be described as a Cube
Please be aware of these changes when entering receipt of these items online.
In the next few weeks the old parcel definitions may still appear on the R-Number Labels, but they will soon be replaced with the new definitions. If you receive any labels with the old parcel definitions, please enter the new parcel definitions onthe Key Characteristics page on Receiver Data Entry.

My answer to that question is "just a piece of foam rubber"

Just received a lovely set of stamps - Classic Children's TV together with a letter saying they have now stopped the separate parcel survey.
Seems to me that they are combining both surveys although probably without the larger parcels. That is really cost-cutting.0 -
Hello, received my first smart today which I have logged onto the system and will send on next week. It says in training that I access manage my smarts from the home page - I dont have this option!
I am waiting for one more smart, will it appear as an option once I have received and logged the second smart?
Hopefully it will arrive asap as I need to include it in a packet.
Thanks - LindaMum, wife and dinnerlady!0
