Oh thank you
that's very kind. I'm very worried as OH will have to leave for work halfway through the appt but I hope he can say what he needs to say in the time he has.

Well I'm feeling quite emotional as I just phoned DWP and a decision was made yesterday. I've been awarded enhanced living and standard mobility. Back dated money should be in my account next Wednesday.
I will be asking for a mandatory reconsideration as it is my belief that I should be on enhanced mobility and I knew that my assessor did not listen to me properly about a descriptor here so the result comes as no surprise, just a frustration.
I should receive their letter next week and I've asked for a copy of my assessment report which could take 7-10 days and I now need to read up on how to approach the mandatory consideration.
BUT- the most amazing thing is that I can now pay for the therapy that should alleviate some pain and get the help I need for life to be a whole lot more manageable.
Serendipity- ours have pretty much mirrored each other so I hope you hear good things today too.0 -

If civil servants are helping capita with the backlog, is anyone helping atos to sort this mess out.0

Well I rung DWP again today last phone call I made to them was end of March, they told me its still with Capita, so rung Capita and was told its not uncommon for things to take so long, my report is on file as 36 pages long and is waiting to be transferred to the second HP then it will go onto DWP, I am presuming the second HP is the one who matches the report against any descriptors?.
So in all not really gained any more information from the phonecall other than its a 36 page report and they have all the information they require, so the wait continues.0
