That sounds rather positive to me. :) It seems as though they're going to look at the evidence and decide.

I hope you get a positive response soon. :)

The HCP is looking at your evidence to then decide whether you need a f2f. Well, that's my understanding anyway.

thanks do u know how long they take to decide weather i do or not?

So sorry you havent been well and hoping you get better very soon. Yep, we are still fighting! Didnt think I could carry on but determined to get justice. Rang DWP the other day to query timescales for MR as I had read of some people getting a quick response. The guy said that generally happens if they havent got enough extra supporting evidence to change their decision. He then said if he was to open all the extra suporting evidence I had submitted, he would be there til midnight. I have taken this as a positive statement but trying not to get ahead of myself as we were gutted at the initial decline and dont want the emotional distress again but I will fight on until there is no other avenue open. I owe it to my daughter. What distressed me this week is that my daughter watched the Speakman programme on the lady with contamination OCD and got really upset with the realisation of the impact on her family and friends. She said we would be happier without her around. It is for this reason we want to get her specialist help which the PIP award would enable us to do. I was going to take a step back from this forum but if my experiences will help others, I will keep on posting any developments. Any thoughts on if the DWP guys comments are relevant or positive? Well done for all with their awards sorted and keep going for all who are going through MR. Take care everyone, be good to yourselves and others :)

Thanks and Aww bless her that must be heartbreaking. I think it sound very positive what the guy said you've obvious gave them a lot of evidence I hope you hear back next week and that it's positive
You need to stay on here like you know yourself it's right what you say one day someone will need your comments to help them and you learn already by never giving up.
I hope you get the help to give you're daughter the help she needs.
Just because I got my answers doesn't mean I forgot about others on here I know how horrible that process is and even harder for yo us it's still going and your fighting for you're child and are going through it second time round I really believe yours will be changed for you's.
I was hoping Geordie girl would have her answer now xx

There is quite a few people at the hospital i go to that have not been called for one and loads on other forums have had a paper based review.
I didnt have one for esa was put straight in the support group, I know i will more likely have to have one for this just wish they would let me know so i can prepare my self for it or at least know when i should expect to hear from them, they told me upon first claiming it should take 12-14 week but it was taking longer than expected and could have to wait 15-16 week.
i have a lot of doctors, psychiatrists, cpn and mental health workers involved in my care so they might have requested more information from them before my f2f but i dont know

Esa and pip are totally different. Be prepared to wait a long time! I first applied on 22nd November 2013. Had f2f on August 4th and decision was made on 20th August. I've also read alot of stories that others have also waited a long time after first claiming. Goodluck!

they seem to be doing some quick than others its so wrong they should be dealt with in date order,no wonder there in such a mess.
I expected to wait a long time for my esa to be done too but they seemed to do it pretty quick was done by the 14th week.
I just wish i could get this f2f out of the way its really worrying me, hopefully it will all be over by xmas. dont understand how it take them over 6 month to deal with

Hi 1111, i put mine in end of march and am having my f2f on tuesday so don't worry too much! I had f2f for my ESA and was put on support straight away and hoping my f2f gets the right decision too, it has been so stressful and i'm exhausted...
kken, i think you should be very proud of yourself for keeping fighting for your daughter, i hope everything comes right for you all and that your daughter is coping as well as she can with the situation...
I'm worrying about my f2f, my friend is taking me as my husband is too poorly to come with me - should i go in on my own or take my friend in too?
hope you're all having a lovely bank holiday weekend xx

I would take your friend in too. I don't know your situation; but if you put on the form that you need help getting from A to B, they may be a bit suspicious if you came into the room yourself. They may assume that you actually came to the centre alone.
