I GOT IT!!!!!! I just rang them expecting the usual 'nothing's showing yet..'
Standard for both until 2017. I honestly cannot believe it. I had to fight to get LRC for DLA so I really didn't hold out much hope at all.
I get a small amount of IR ESA at present, I think the PIP award may mean I'm entitled to a disability premium?
This may now mean that I can finish my Masters!!!!!
Made up for you, hope everything else quickly falls into place and you can get on with what's really important. Living!0 -

Thanks everyone.
And yes, I cannot wait to live again!! There is now light at the end of the tunnel and by Christmas I hope to have finished my placement and dissertation. It's all looking so much more manageable now. Once I'm done, I hope to take a breather and then start applying for jobs. I know it won't be easy finding something which will cater for me, but my placement has really helped me to work out what I can and can't do, and what reasonable adjustments I need. Hopefully this will stand me in good stead as I can be positive about what I need, opposed to how I was previously by having a negative approach which focused on the things I can't do. Move over able-bodied world, just a touch, and I'll be fine
Sounds like your son's 18th will be a good one Marcus. It's my little girl's 4th Birthday on 2nd September0 -
I'm on my 5th month now since ATOS received my claim. So far nobody has even looked at it, I've had my GP, social worker and OT write in explaining my condition and how it affects me (I have a progressive neurological disorder, brain damage, degenerative spinal disorder, and AS and RA and am in a wheelchair and am rapidly getting worse) but like I said my paperwork hasn't been looked at yet so I'm losing hope (and as my husband had to give up work to care for me and I had to give up work as I am unable to walk, am doubly incontinent and can't even make a sandwich) so financially we are 'in a right old pickle' and we are getting desperate as without me having PIP we will end up bankrupt and with a steady stream of bailiffs to our doorThere is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.0

Well done to all who have received pip.
applied for pip in January 2014 , had home visit assesment on the 11 June and a letter dated 14 th July saying they now have all the information they need and sorry for the wait in a decision. Phoned them on the 11 august , still no news. Don't know what to expect
