Does anyone know if they have started on people who are still on DLA?

Mine goes to 2017 so just wanted to kind of know when i can expect a invite to claim PIP.

personally I would contact them and explain when you claimed and can they tell you if the forms have been sent to Capita or Atos, then take it from there

Some areas are having DLA to PIP migrations but many are not.

Even in those area's its been reported DLA forms are been sent out on renewals when supposed to be PIP.

Also regarding appeals, the # of ESA appeals since they changed the appeal procedures has fallen sharply, so they have successfully reduced the amount of appeals via immoral policies.
  • It's now 45 weeks since I applied. Report has been with DWP almost four weeks and still no decision, this is after being told on 20 March by DWP that a decision would be made ASAP once my report was returned to them. Have phoned today and pointed this out. Didn't want to, I wanted at least one part of my application to proceed without any prompting by me. Have been told somebody will call and explain why the decision hasn't been made yet. As with others I'm not holding my breath and really hoping there isn't a seven week backlog.

Can't believe the DWP still haven't given you a decision Susie. I can't see how bank holidays can make all that much difference. I keep being told that it should be no more than 4 weeks once the report actually gets to the DWP decision maker. Hope you hear quickly and try not to get too stressed again.

  • Thanks lauriee, I hope everybody on this forum can get quicker results .I was reading previous threads and they seem to have received results within 5 weeks.DWP said it depends on which benefit section deals with claims.
