Best man's wife...

speaking from experience, being a best man means you actually spend very little time with your own partner.....
I was best man at a wedding last year, I got dropped off by my partner at the groom's parents house first thing, then had my own duties to do till after the ceremony itself, then once everything there was sorted I saw her briefly as we were in the same car to the reception venue, then it was off for more pictures in the venue and then the wedding breakfast.
If I was to offer a suggestion to anyone with a best man's partner or wife etc to consider please put them with someone they know, mine was with the guy who is going to be chief usher at our wedding and is a very good friend of ours, which was very welcome as my partner is very quiet and the only people that recognised her were on the top table or were the groom's immediate family that had met her a few timesWho remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?0
