I've finally found a cure for my flea problem, though perhaps a touch unorthodox. We're dog sitting for mum at the moment and the fleas seem to just jump off the cats onto him. The great thing is he is happy to be brushed and fussed for hours so I can catch all the fleas off him
lol - does your mum loan him out?0 -
I'd be delighted to make you one, but only if your happy with the cost...it's £20 which broken down is-
£14 - what it costs me to buy the blank moon
£4.50 the cost of the electric cable, plug and bulb
£1.50 to cover the paints
Let me know if that would be ok but if you feel it's too expensive then that's no problem. xx
Meant to add that I'll need to find the cheapest way to post it too you but hopefully that shouldn't be too much.0 -
I met Atrix's new kits today - Taz, the ginger and white, has a very distinctive face shape - reminiscent of the Egyptian cat. gorgeous! big for 5 months. Kiki is all black and soooooo cute. that little baby looks about 7 weeks to me.
DG4 has been off school as she had 8 teeth taken out yesterday under general anaesthesia. she rang to ask if she could come down, so she stayed for a few hours. she put the finishing touches to the 'window clings' we started yesterday, made a 'Marracca', had some food and we made cocopop krispies.
Barnes was so happy to see her! she helped me do his G&T and we played 'catchthedreamies'. her aim is worse than GD1! Barnes had no chance of catching them so he just sat and watched where they landed then 'pounced' on them. She was amused by this, so Barnes has had more than his 'allowance' of Dreamies today!
Barnes has discovered that if he squeezes between the cooker and the cupboard - he can gain access to my baking tin cupboard - and make a hell of a racket knocking them all over! he has been quite demented tonight - no idea whats got into him! he even jumped up on top of the microwave and started pawing the wall??????????? I assume he was chasing invisible flies? he topped that by jumping on the worktop, then onto the kitchen windowsill and turning round and jumped against the roller blind.............which of course billowed out and he found himself falling onto the floor.............roflmao. he didn't like me laughing at him so has gone to sulk, I mean, watch TV with OH.0 -
Nonnie - I was thinking about £25 so if you can do it for £20 plus postage I am more than happy! I don't know how long it takes you to do them - but new baby is expected in six weeks, so second class parcel would prob be the cheapest option and still get here in plenty of time. if you have kitchen scales then weigh the item plus packing and you can look up approx. cost on Royal Mail site. I will then send you cash (will pm MY address and will need yours). if that is agreeable to you then, yes please, make me one!!!!!!!!!0

I'll start work on it straight away....a few questions for you, do you know if it's a boy or a girl? Also what colour would you like the wee teddy bear, it can be a greyish colour like a tatty teddy or brown like the photo. And lastly any particular colours or preferences you fancy just let me know.
I'll check the postage and let you know and I don't want any money from you till you have safely received it and are happy with it:D0 -
its a girl nonnie - much to my grandsons disgust (he is 7 tomorrow and wanted a brother to play with). I like the brown teddy in the pic. and brown and pink 'go' somehow, I think. otherwise, I am happy with the colours in the photo - I think they are lovely, and a little bit of blue sets the other colours off perfectly. and the pink predominates, so its perfect for a girl to me - rofl - in other words 'just like the photo please'!
as you please with the money - I will PM you my real name and address ok?0 -
have PM'd you my details nonnie.0
