    Morning all!
Well I have a busy week ahead! Am trying to have a bit of a tidy up before I leave for work at 12pm, need to fill my car up on the way too! I really hope that there are some nice people on the roads... some days I just have an awful time on the road because of rude, arrogant and idiotic drivers :(
Not doing much OS wise apart from housework and cooking this weekend-my coconut ice finally set, so I'm going to give some to a friend today, I hope that she likes it!
Right, kettle is on, hot water is almost ready for a bath, so that's my hint to continue with my work for the morning!
There are lots of hugs available for those who need them xx

    Good morning everyone!

It's a beautiful day, hope it's good for Ryton, herbaholic. I'd love to visit it but it's a long way from here.... also would love to visit the Eden Project, and the Hydroponicum at Achiltibuie, far far north of here - they even manage togrow pineapples! https://www.thehydroponicum.com is their website.

    PenPin I'm glad you're having a needle-free day tomorrow.
    Bon Voyage to the holidaymakers!

Today I'm out for a cuppa with my dearest friend, Saturday morning ritual. Then a quiet afternoon after my entertaining at lunchtime yesterday. It was lovely to see my friends - although we see each other individually, it takes forward planning to get us all together. I'm a tad tired so it will be a chillout day today.

I dreamt of cats, but will still resist the temptation to look for a kitten. My old boy is so happy on his own, I don't think he could cope with a youngster!

    Best go, I'm running late!

    Hugs to all

    Good Morning all
I'm late getting on here this morning, but I have been busy, DW is finished & reloaded, WM has been on twice & both loads are on the line, lodgers washing is on now.
I hope everyone who is going on holiday has a lovely time, I'm so jealous, hubby and I had a wet weekend near Weymouth in 2003 but not been able to afford anything since, ah well look on the bright side, we have a roof over our heads & there was a time when we thought we would lose that.
Not sure what else needs doing today, though I must cut the grass, otherwise I'll need a machete, Thumper & Ogden do their best to keep the grass short, but they just don't eat it quick enough!
    Hugs

    Morning everyone

I can't quite believe how incredibly sunny and bright it is today - especially that it's here in Ireland and it's even on a Saturday, it's practically unheard of!

Whooopee doooo, I'm off work for an entire week. I would love to be going to Florida (I went once way back in the 80s) but my ongoing domestic projects are taking precedence over holidays for the time being. The first thing to be done is to get the seeds out of their packets and into some soil. Then I've got to do some filing, and some washing...well, you know just do all the usual stuff.

At the moment I've got a very special visitor and her husband staying with me. The Aussielasses are here having stayed last night. It's been fabulous to see them again, and hope it isn't too long before they are back again.

That's my news, have a fabulous weekend everyone.

Have a lovely time in Florida to those who are going.

Amiee - Thanks for the travellodge hint - just booked 4 nights away at end of August - we wanted to go somewhere but didn't really have the funds for a week - £60 is much easier to budget - plus fuel and food etc but still a lot cheaper - going to go to Nottingham (never been) and Cambridge, will be a nice break.

Late start here, DD1 got back from France ok - she's grown, she's starving hungry and slept for 13 hours!! She's currently on 3rd helpings of brekkie.

Going to chop up some trees and dig a few holes today - nothing to strenuous.

Hope you all have a great day.

    Morning Everyone

overcast here at the mo, but forecast is for sunny? Been busy this week getting loads of jobs done round the house, paint, filing, etc. Still got ironing to do though! Finished painting my garden ornaments too! Still trying to be good and getting some walking in and trying to avoid the shops for unnecessary spends!:p

Now Im on a budget again - does anyone know about coupons in supermarkets? Do tesco/asda still take them againt shopping or has it changed and you have to buy the products now?

My neighbour has given me one tomato plant - do I need to put it in a bigger pot/grow bag or will it be fine in its little pot? and what do I do with it!:o
My strawberries got hammered with all the lashing of rain the other few weeks so not looking good, only had a couple of fruit to eat so far:o the others look small - dont seem to have much luck growing them.

amie - Sandcastles, do you have a specific design with moat and drawbridge?:D
Snowy/aussielass - Im confused here (doesnt take much:p ) but how come you in N.I. I thought you were in Wales??? snowy - are you still at sainsburys?
mushypeas - nice to see you back, although I dont get on here much myself these days:o have you finished work in london now or not? if so we can meet up before you go.

Have a great time all you lucky devils off on your hols to exotic locations!:D
    enjoy your day everyone, byee:D

    Morning all,

Very sluggish start today. Little kitten wanted feeding at 2:30 am and then 6 - strange for him because he normally sleeps through but I think his tummy woke him up to go to the loo. He's now flakers-makers on my lap! Not letting that continue for much longer - I want to sleep through tonight!

Didn't do much yesterday as I couldn't bend my knee due to the leg bites! They're still rather hot and swollen! Had wanted to replant containers and a border but getting down to the ground wasn't easy so I had a lazy day reading old newspapers and mags! I'll have to try insect repellant but I don't know if it'll work on ants or spiders, and I'm sure that I'm getting bitten by those.

Nothing much planned for today except a bit of a tidy up. Have to post off my ebay parcel, and 2 books I sold on greenmetropolis.com but that's about it.

Ivyleaf So sorry to hear about your little cat yesterday and his Mum. Hope the mum picks up.
Pen-Pin Sorry to hear about those bruises! Hope you can sit down!

Hope every1 has a good day!
