Good morning everyone,
Very jealous of all those going to Florida, on this day last year we were getting ready to go and i so wish we could be going again, but hopefully in the next few years (thanks in part to Mr Tesco deals) we will be going again!!!!
Hope everyone is well, we are going to have a lazy morning before popping into Plymouth to get DS some new trainers. We will then be collecting DDs friend who will be staying for a sleepover - she is so excited although im a bit nervous as today really will be the first proper sleepover we have done. We have BBQ and salad for dinner, crisps, popcorn and lemonade for this evening, while we watch the Joseph final and the new Simon Cowell thing on ITV - i think we have a little chocolate cake left over from yesterday, so hopefully that should keep them happy.
Not much else planned, have 1 parcel left to post - sold almost all the bits i put on ebay (posted most of them yesterday) loving the fact i can print the postage labels myself now via paypal, makes it a lot easier and i can see what ive made easier as paypal debits the postage from the paypal account, rather than me paying it seperately. Made about £50 so very pleased with that.
Ok, going to finish my cuppa and then jump in the shower, i look like ive been dragged through a hedge backwards, so hair def needs a wash!!!
Have a lovely day (hope you all have sunshine today)
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Goodmorning Oldstylers :hello:
well it looks a bit dull outside here today but Im sure the sun will burn away the clouds later ( ever the optomist )
I havent managed to keep up with this thread all week so sorry if I have missed anything.
DD is in 2 dancing shows today ( matinee & evening ) so I am debating whether to help behind scenes or have a day offthat might depend on whether the weather improves  My garden has been a bit neglected this week too and I must must must buy a grow bag for my tomatoes - they have now taken over the kitchen but at least they are flowering
I also have some sweet peas that I need to get in too.
I have managed to make last weeks meals last longer than expected so will not be doing my weekly shop till Monday. Will probably have to do a little top up shop today for fruit though. Made soup & bread yesterday so that will do for lunch and we are having chicken supreme with rice tonight with some leftover chicken frozen from last Sunday and a jar of sauce
Have a lovely day everybody and ((((HUGS)))) for those who need them:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -

Morning all
Sorry I haven't been around for ages, life is really manic at the moment. Have a few hours in my flat this morning....am I going to be unpacking from when I moved in March? Of course not! Lots to do today, have a big to do list before going out to see people this afternoon so I'd better get on with it.
But I have pegged out my washing so feel very proud of myself.
Sky is lovely and blue in Cornwall, what a fab place to live
Have good days all.

Morning all!:hello:
Wow, can't believe I'm on Page 1!:j (Edit: Well, I was when I started typing anyway!)
AMIE - sounds like you're in for a great weekend! Have fun!
Herbaholic - hope you have a lovely day at Ryton.
Penny-Pincher - hope you will feel better today. ((((HUGS))))
Mushy Peas! Lovely to see you back! You sound so happy down there in Cornwall, that's good!
Busy day ahead today. WM needs to go on to get the rest of our stuff ready for packing. Hoovering needs doing desperately! Bit of ironing if I can manage it - DH will help if not. Taking remaining elderly cat to vet this morning to see why she's lost interest in food - even freshly-cooked fish doesn't tempt her and she's very thin.
This afternoon I'm singing at a wedding at our church so I'm looking forward to that - it's not a solo or anything, just helping lead the singing. Though I think this couple have chosen "All Things Bright and Beautiful" and "Morning Has Broken", so hopefully most of the guests will know those from school days!:D It's fun to see what dresses the bride has chosen for herself and the bridesmaids! Also want to fit in a visit to the library to get some books to take away with us. We've bought a few as well, but if the weather's not good we may be spending quite a bit of time sitting in the caravan!
I think tonight's dinner will be spag bol as it's nice and easy!:p
I'll come back later to catch up! Hope everyone has a good day and that we all get the sunshine at some point! And of course ((((HUGS)))) to anyone who's ill, worried or unhappy today.
Best wishes
ivyleaf xx :wave:0
