Beautiful picture Pigpen and a beautiful name too. Congratulations to you all.
Also, thankyou for the top tips on getting the skids involved in keeping the house sorted. I take on board everything you have said, once my lot are back from their dad's on Sunday I will start riot-act-reading. DS1 and DS2 will possibly be ok, DD will moan and I dread to think of the reaction of DSD and DSS -- but as me and OH are getting married a week on Friday it's probably about time I turned into a wicked step mum
My migraine made a grand return after paid work yesterday -- went to pick up DSD and DSS from MIL and she shooed me out and told me to go to bed as I looked terrible and that was AFTER I had applied all that makeup  Thought about ironing for all of three seconds until I realised I couldn't stand up without feeling sick so I was in bed all afternoonAs a result of DSD and OH having the run of the place last night it's now looking like a pit and I have a LOT to do this afternoon to catch up.
- [STRIKE]Collect DSD from piano lesson and pick up dinner from uninspiring
mini Tesco -- too tired to drive into town to Aldi[/STRIKE] DSD now going to Redditch with a friend straight from piano, saves me a 15 mile round trip and means I can nip to Sainsbobs this afternoon for a better selection - Collect DSS from sleepover
- Tackle ironing mountain
- WMx2
- Clean scene of devastation in kitchen, sweep and mop
- Vacuum throughout and dust living room after clearing crud from Coffee Table of Doom
- Tidy our bedroom -- DVDs and makeup detritus strewn everywhere
- Clean the bathroom, have another go at the carpet down the side of the loo after DSS's exploits as I can still see a shadow of a stain
- Fill a black back as I'm flying -- easily done, think the kitchen will achieve that on its own
ETA: OH is playing cricket today, I am half-hoping for rain just so I don't have to wash his kit on top of everything else. Is that terribly selfish? Actually, I don't care if it is. Off to do rain dance in the shower :rotfl:0 - [STRIKE]Collect DSD from piano lesson and pick up dinner from uninspiring

Lovely name pigpen... glad you've come to a truce on it!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0

Afternoon
Not got too far. Neighbours bunnies ran me a right merry dance.
Collected DS3 and we went and picked loads of blackberries to I'll freeze and cook some later.
Just finishing off lunch and then I'll quickly clean the shower room before taking DS3 to watch cricketThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Have just had an hour or so in the garden. I have dug up the rest of the first planting of spuds. I have two mushroom baskets full (the blue tray things) plus one in the oven for my dinner being baked! I have tidied over and removed some more of the grass thatch. Rooted (in pots) strawberry runners identified (roots are through the holes so they're done) and detached from parent plants. The plan is to root 50 if I can but fewer will do. the new strawberry bed will be where the spuds were; once everything's dug and weeded my edging strips will go in then I will plants the strawbs. I will read my Carol Klein books over the winter to decided what else to grow; cannot be spuds again apparently, not in two consecutive years. Soappie, if you remember you told me about the spuds breaking up the soil - boy were you right!. I've had plastic on for a long time to kill persistent weeds hence the delay. I now have lovely friable soil!

It forecast rain again and been murky so far, but its that windy I wish I had hung the washing out - might go do it now. I'll just check a different forecast in case it p's it down whilst we are out...Bossymoo

I just need to vacuum upstairs, mop bathroom floor (kitchen will wait until after I've finished the laundry) and I think apart from dailies I'm done
So much easier to clean when I haven't got DD under foot or stropping.

Binmen have been and I was going to wash the bin out with hot bleach water but its raining so I'm leaving it for now. Think I might actually leave it until they catch back up with themselves (been on a "working to rule" strike) as I need to scrub the recycling bin out as well and that's full. I'll also clean the front of the house at a later date. The windows need cleaning on the outside, the front door needs washing & the brass cleaning, then the pavement needs a damn good sweep and the air vents unblocking again. That can be next weeks tadpole.
Off to vacuum upstairs/mop the bathroom and then I'm going to get some lunch and enjoy the relative peace while DD is out

Going to have a lazy day today as bun in the oven feels like she would rather be laying downAs and when I get up I'll do a little something but generally happy with the state of the place. First stop is some lunch. Have a good day all.

We had to go into town, something I loathe doing on a Saturday. Mr LW had an endowment policy mature, and they paid him by cheque (how very 20th Century!) so he wanted to go and pay it in straight away. I needed a couple of bits from B00ts and H&B anyway, so I went with him (saves him paying to park, too, as I have a Blue Badge :money:) but it was far too crowded for me, and I feel really sick now _pale_ and have a pounding headache.
I have, however, shredded some documents that were no longer needed (and managed to spill shreddings all over the floor emptying the shredder) and Mr LW has successfully turned the mattress without my help :A so a few bits have been done at least.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
