aww Bossy - you deserve a medal, you really do!
Been to Morries - top up shop turned into full blown megashop BUT I got staff discoutn AND 6p off petrol voucher *woot*
have filled WM and DW up for overnight running. WM, mysteriously, still has none of DS's stuff in. I haven't said a word; all the washing is still in his room, clothes and glasses so it looks like realisation MAY dawn if he needs something clean.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Piggers, I love the names. There's a song about a Delilah (no, NOT that one! Which goes, "Oh, it's what you do to me, oh it's what you do to me. Hey there Delilah dum de dum de dum de dum...." I love it but can't remember who it's by
.).
Bossy, you amaze me. Words can't describe it. Well done xx
Naff all done at home yesterday other than a rush out to empty the washing line which DH had filled as it started spitting. He appears to have done all the washing, finished off kids uniform shopping and done some tidying so it's all good. He still has 3 days off too. He's taking the munchkins to London and detouring via the cotswolds to find the last 2 gromits but he doesn't know if he's going overnight or a day trip yet. It's a shame we can't all go but we just can't fit it in before they go back to school

Morning all. Hope everyone is ok, went AWOL yesterday but today is gardening day, wish me luck!
Re song lyrics (not Delilah) but yesterday I heard a song on the radio that had the line "I love you better than your own kidney". Mmmmm, strange but them some lyrics are.
Hope everyone has a great day.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
Jazee snap - garden for me today and DS2 will be helping (he doesn't know this yet and is asleep, well for 10 more minutes)
The two frogs I've been chewing all week are also on my hit list for gobbling today. Just going to have a quick look at my list to see what else is hitting critical. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Just listening to your link, CY - never heard it before - it's good!
Re: the OTHER song - I knew a bloke at uni who had an awful voice and couldn't pick up most of the lyrics or tune, but instead went round just singing "My my my delightful!" over and over again :rotfl: Still very appropriate for the beautiful little one.
I fell into bed at 9.15 last night, unable to keep my eyes open. Got up at 5.00 this morning, ate a frog and then went back to bed at 7.00 and slept till 9.00  Feeling much better today, especially after yesterday's successful painting session
The sun is shining, washing is already hung out on the line, and we're going out for lunch and a mooch round Hanbury Hall (NT)0
