Thank you Honey Bear0 -
I was feeling broody till my two started at each other again :rotfl: they have been told after this mornings performance they are having nothing nice today. DS said "you better tell Gramps the cos he always gives us sweets" :rotfl:
Kids beds changed and bags ready for morning. Bedding washed but its a downpour here. Honestly rain forecast for last 2 mostly dry days, and sun forecast today - yet all I can hear is the drumming on the conservatory roof!Bossymoo

Busy morning here at Jazee's joint. DH has been really busy weeding our drive (and next doors) and he cleaned his car. Is now incapacitated (sp?) with a bad back. Green bin completely full as I cut the grass back and front and weeded the borders.
Second lot of washing about to go on line, and third in WM.
Have just had chilli prawns for lunch and now need to weed the patio and the plant pots out back. And dig up the veggies which I think are just about finished now, although I'm no expert.
Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Pleased with front garden progress, little more to do but that maybe left for tomorrow so I can get some of the back done.
DH nearly there with DS1 room, he will be so pleased. Need to get bed back later, light shade up etc.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Vacuumed, S&Sed bathroom and kitchen and washed cricket kit before picking up my skids, it's been a long fortnight and I am so glad to have them home.
OH cooking dinner, DD and DSD will be washing up tonight and I have forewarned skids that there will be new rules in place re: housework from Tuesday onwards. Met with defiant stares, but I am a stubborn moo and this only spurs me on! :rotfl:

When I'd had Mrs Dog a couple of weeks as I prepared to take her out for her walk, she started stretching and make a sort of rumbly noise as she did so, after the anti-arthritis pain-killing drugs had a chance to kick in. Given that moment when they know they're going for a walk is the happiest I think a dog can be, I think it's her version of expressing pleasure.
She's snoozing next to me, still drugged up, and rumbling away every time she wakes up, stretches her legs out without standing up, looks to see where I am and goes back to sleep. (She chunters to herself in her sleep, too.) She no longer gets up, waggles her head, has a drink, waggles her head again, and comes back to lie down. I think this dog is pain-free for the first time in a very, very long time.
I hope the rescue place does offer a contribution, but even if they don't, it's been worth every penny. Who needs a foreign holiday, anyway?
Flying super-minimal - I put the crocks on the draining board away. OH being away is bliss!Better is good enough.0 -
Just popping in to say Congrats re Delilah, pigpen - beautiful!
