But do you concur that according to the page you linked to, as long as a eBay seller has less than the minimum required number of lows, they could have DSR scores of 3.0 across all categories, and not be in danger of suspension? Losing Powerseller / TRS, yes, but not actual suspension?

I'm banging on about this because I suspect I've been wasting a lot of time working hard to keep my scores up when I needn't have bothered. Never had a low, but I do worry about keeping above 4.6.

With the majority of sellers managing to maintain 4.8 any seller that falls below that is going to stand out. If you aim at 4.9 and maybe occasionally drop to 4.8 you will be fine, 4.7 should get a seller working out where they are going wrong and anything lower than 4.6 should be a wake up call.

The last thing a seller needs is for buyers to think they are a poor seller and move on without buying.

I remember when i was in trouble a few months back (i think my Item as described and Postage were heading towards 4.7), i didn't get an email warning but when i checked my dashboard those two catagories were showing Red.
Luckily i spotted it and managed to turn it around......but regularly checking your dashboard is an absolute MUST.

Its Ebays policy to warn you about a month after its too late.

After going red - they eventually email you a warning. Of course, if they emailed you at say 4.7 - it would be more helpful.

They do give you 3 months to improve (must be month on month) - but unless its in postage costs where the problem is - its usually too late. With low postage stars you can GAURANTEE improvement by offering free postage.
