Air tickets to Hong Kong so my LO can meet some more of her relatives. I wish we'd been able to go when she was a little baby when my grandfather was still alive. I'm happy knowing that he lived long enough to see photos and videos of her as a tiny baby, but he never met her as I didn't want to take an almost newborn on a long haul flightGot married 13/11/10

I read this earlier and thought nothing.
Since then have thought again and the answer is it depends on how much money was available.
In ascending cost order : a garden pond for the front garden
A mini road sweeper for 'work'. ( we spend inordinate amounts of time sweeping or feeling like we should sweep)
A really good garden landscaper
Sme building work done.0 -
An iphone and having recently received a lump sum through redundancy I'm tempted to go for it, but I have a habit of breaking mobile phones so I'm not sure I will. I'd be gutted to spend all that money then have nothing to show for it. I'm going to Sydney insteadThough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0

A boiler that works seeing as we haven't had heating or hot water from the tap in 4 years.
Brrr. Horrid isn't it. We had our boiler replaced last year with such optimism and hope, and it didn't work and it so much worse having spent a lot of money n it and it not working. We are chasing our suppliers through the court system now.
Ironically, we also have a new bathroom going in, the want of some on the thread...but no hot water to feed in when its done:D. Done.0 -
Probably a TV or a new mobile.0

Some furniture for our 'pit' upstairs. We have priced it all up but as the whole room needs a total overhaul (painting/carpet/furniture) its out of our league at the mo.
Myself, if i got some money would be laser hair removal. Oh my gosh i would be so happy.
We have also just attended a large event that was fab. I would love to do it again and am so sad the budget doesn't allow. Though i keep looking at prices/booking in the vain hope that suddenly it will become afordable (I sigh a lot).. if i did get some serious cash i would go the whole hog and turn left when getting on the plane to go there!
I note we are all looking for small stuff... no mad purchases for MSE'ersPlease note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
