No need to go snap/nerf, there will always be misunderstandings of humour whenever the writen word is being used. lol, Its one of my greatest fears (well apart from flying |) when using the writen word to being mis-understood, It has got me into trouble so many times!

Just been lurking but I had to come on and reply to Mimi. I really feel for you, it's awful when your home life is overshadowed by work. write things down (dates, times, who was there, any emails or correspondence, the gist of the conversation etc) as you never know when or if it may be necessary.
As thrifty sister says, an employment tribunal is not something to be taken lightly.

I have been through an employment tribunal and it took two years of my life and i had awful health issues because of it. the good news is that I won my case... But if I had to go back and do it all again, I wouldn't. I would walk away and not go down that route cos it's pretty hellish.

Be strong, but start looking for something else. Life is too short to put up with s@@t

Glad you won Tiger - at least it made up a little bit and you were vindicated. But it is taking a very heavy toll on my relative and his family - and its a double whammy as he has to pay for it!!!!!!!!!!!! There is a work grievance procedure that he has had to document along with several meetings with managers etc and he is being shunned - by managers and work colleagues. And it is nowhere being resolved :(:(
