    Afternoon all

Well had to go shopping today for shoes for the children for back to school, OMG eldest is 13 and is now measuring at a 7.5, and my god the cheapest we could find that he likes was £45.00. disgusting for school shoes I think as they don't last him the year. Still got to get youngest as no where had his size in.:(

I got DS school shoes in Sports Direct: Lee Cooper £16.99, all sizes really nice, not sure if leather, but look leather

Oh great thanks, will have a look, I can take these back, as really did not want to pay £45.00, my purse is crying :eek::eek:

Aha - we should now be buying (possibly one only, although that could be a greater risk) the Robinson's Fruit Shoot Blackcurrant & Apple Low Sugar (4x200ml) in Tvs M:
    £1.89/Any 2 for £2.00 vs 94p.
Hoping - probably somewhat long shotly - that T's price of £1.25 last week is still on the shelf. So...that's a price reduction then is it MSM? From £1.25 for one last week to £1.89 for one this. Price graph on msm for T on this product is now suggesting it was £1.75 a few days ago and has now had a sharp reduction down to £1.00 (in other words buying 2 for £2.00 making it £1.00 each) and is making this as "39% off" and calling it a "Savvy Buy", yet I clearly had this as being £1.25 straight (no m'buy) in T until 13/8.

I don't know where the £1.75 is coming from - maybe a non-useful 'glitch' on msm?
So - outside Northern Ireland - buy 1 only if your SEL is still £1.25 and hope it compares vs Morries. Or buy 2 if you want to try it vs M and don't mind losing 12p if it doesn't returns with N/A.

Did you make it? I ask cos I thought you said you were baking today, and yes I'd love a piece please. (Was going to say I'll have a bit, but thought it may be misconstrued;):p:D)

The missus made it last night. (rushed job, she's not happy with it and mortified that I've shared it. But it's my birthday cake and I'll share if i want to, share if I want to, share if I want to)

The cake I was baking today is for a friend's birthday at the weekend.
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen
