Aggghhh. Just come back from A's and checked my receipt and the SA hasnt deducted the APG I gave her . She's signed my receipt. Cant believe it. She deducted the other coupons I had. So annoyed I didnt notice this when she was cashing up :mad::mad:
Phone them right now, they will have the money waiting for you tomorrow. I have had a similar problem and it was fixed in seconds.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

Depending on value I would call store. Tell them the APG value and the till number you were at
When they cash up they should be able to spot an APG for that value in the drawer that wasn't put through the till
As your original receipt has now been signed it would be hard to use it again. I would ask them to put the value onto a giftcard with an additional £2 as, in a way, you have been overcharged
All depends on the value of the APG though

Savvybuyer wrote: »I stopped off at Lidl on my journey back - to find no apples or pears packs anywhere near to my trigger point. All way too expensive at the moment. Found some Iceberg Lettuce, at 49p, and Celery, at 49p, but they're both more expensive than Avs M's 50p should be! So, no, 49p is too dear!:rotfl:
I did find however Crusti Croc Rice Cakes Salted (140g), at 49p. There the 49p is quite good compared to others at £1.00 and at 80p - and beats my rice cakes version that's on my T fillers list. I also noticed, in Sains earlier, that Sains-own brand of cough lictus is two pence cheaper than the Bell's versions at Morries. So that's a mistake that is to go for deletion from the M list! (All of 2p. It may of course not make sense if you have a Morries that is much nearer to you than a Sainsburgers.)
I like your name for S .I usually call them sainbugs but I think I prefer Sainburgers:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

I hadn't been to my dentist for a while (moved house, put it off etc) and went last summer - all seemed okay (with the service, but needed some work on my teeth including a wisdom tooth out and filings) and he came up with a treatment plan - when it came to around £1000 projected cost when reception printed it off I thought that sounds a bit steep, with a £50 charge for the initial meeting/check up :yikes:. When she asked if I wanted to pay up front it clicked he had changed and no longer did NHS work! I feel sure I had said NHS when I phoned up but he was quite dismissive over what was possible on NHS and painted a picture of an inferior service.
Long story short, I Googled a bit, read up, found he was talking nonesense and all that he has indicated needed doing could be done on NHS if I could find one that would accept me. i went on NHS choices website (http://www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/Dentists/LocationSearch/3) which lists dentists who have NHS spaces in your area (search by postcode), found one nearby (ish!) and I haven't looked back. Once treatment starts the fee is set as one of the 3 bands and that is it no matter how many appointments the treatment plan takes.
Excellent service.
