Charity Shop Shopping

Sometimes when I go out to lunch with my sisters we have a competition to see who is wearing the most charity shop things, ( I dont mean layered up ) We have also been known to have a charity shop day out to other towns. Great fun.0

Me and my mates went on a charity shop run the other week started in tooting, walked through balham ( nice cofee on way) and then finished up in clapham.
Clapham is a right rip off, and there wasnt much doing either, what was there was rags! Tootings pretty good, my mate got a brand new mango jacket shed been hunting for one for ages for 1.50. I got a Guzzini Cruet set, ( a copy is £65 on kelkoo) brand new for £3.00
Also i recommend Woodford on the central line, where OH got a pair of Levis twisters for £3 ( top nick) and I got a red suit ( for the jacket) for a tenner. Not the cheapest round woodford, but very good condition and lots "worth buying"
Will check out golders green this weekend I think:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Exactly amosworks. There should be a stigma attached to throwing away perfectly decent wearable clothes!
A neighbour threw out a whole suitcase full I wanted to have a rummage, it was ont he pavement, but the council cleared it up, binned no doubt:(Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

LOL lynzpower, if you're in the Golders Green charity shops around 2/3 pm on Sunday and you see an average height girl with brown hair, glasses, a black hooded fleece and (probably) jeans, say hi cos it's probably me!

LOL I will be more as likely wearing a red double breasted wool jacket from Woodford Charity shop!! I will have a very intent look on my face and racing through the rails jangling my coinage! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? A bit off topic but this inspired me to look in tammy girl in BHS as i need an outfit for a friends wedding. Got a ribbon knit sequinned shrug for less than a fiver in an age 14-16 size:)Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
