I don't think they are outrageous, my firend is a lawyer and she wears them in the office but she was warned not to wear them at court as they were not appropriate.

  • Each to their own. On reflection I was around when the high platform soles were in fashion all those years ago. I suppose this is why I am reacting. just thinking about the damage these can cause to wearers joints. trust me, this is the voice of experience...

I think those shoes are lovely, but when I think about wearing them myself all I can think about is them nipping like crazy. I have really really delicate skin on my feet and it's making me wince from all the straps!

Can I just say that threads like these are one of the reasons I like these forums. Alternating between practical, supportive, off topic and totally barking.
With the added bonus that aliasojo is now prised out of her black, glammed up and ready to go.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I hope she had a great time.

She needed telling that they wouldn't be OK in court?!

I wouldn't wear them myself, but I think they're nice.

She had only just finished her pupilage and got a bit carried away. She got away with the pin stripe gothy two piece skirt and jacket suit though.

Yes, that one. He bought it for a charity onesie walk. He's very young looking, would never pass for old enough for the hen night although he's often mistaken for a girl :D

Well, I hope Aliasojo's already been to that wedding and isn't getting ideas :rotfl:
