Clicking Expired Instead Of PMing A BG For A Merge?

I am taking a zero approach to people that post no end dates at all they go straight to GO i mean how hard is it to see that all the other comps or nearly all if they are done correctly are not posted like that.I edit the ones that have say xx/xx and no E: or E:xx/xx(no space) but sooner or later i'm gonna start moving them too;)

Also I think it's a bad idea to expire dupes, send a pm to a BG to ask for a merge as usual and if the OP spots that thay have duped and can put DUPE in the title until it's merged all the better

As the situation of not having enough BG's has been a problem for so long & several threads have been made about getting some extra BG's especially the one in the site feed back forum while you are the only full BG we have I am wondering why you have not commented on any of the threads made?

If you TALK to us we would know why

It seems you are happy to carry on being the only full BG on the comp forum, but there are a LOT of people working hard every day trying to plug the gap of where a BG would be & it's getting to the point of not being able to continue running around doing things that a BG could do quickly.

You may be happy to carry on getting 40 PM's a day but it's not working is it Glad?

This situation needs to be sorted once & for all, we need more BG's to be around in the day time so you do not have 40 PM's a day to get through & we get the merges done quicker

There for I will not be PMing anyone to say every thing is all right Glad because it is clearly not!

I am sorry that I have had to write this on the open forum, but I have tried to communicate with you several times by PM but I get no reply.

I have NOTHING against you Glad you do a fantastic job when you have time around your own life & I applaud that :T but why should the forum suffer because we obviously need more BG's & for some un known reason you will not comment on it, or help us get the help we so need

Darren what do you think about the situation?

Do you think this board needs more BG's?.

Did you send the request for more BG's?

Have you had a reply from MSE towers?

It would be great to have some sort of communication from the BG's

I explained Glad's PM glitch has sorted it's self out but we still need help on the forum re new mods

If the bg's need help they will ask.

Diva as far as I'm aware only uses her bg sig when she needs to for her bg thing,I asked her this a few weeks ago on fb.She does work as well as doing her bg thing.

I'm really chilled out

I am just trying to sort a long standing problem out for the good of the forum.

It's very frustrating when the same problems come up time & time again, lets bring it to a head, get it out in the open, sort the problem out

I know no ones say's anything because they don't want to upset Dalkrist or Glad, neither do I it's far from my mind but if it's not dealt with the same problems go on & on

And then once sorted we can get back to what we all want to do & that's comp :beer:

I thought the problem wasn't so much the BGs asking/not asking for help as people noting that things like merge requests and old comps getting moved into GO not getting done.

Yes it is about people going round & clicking expired on every single comp where a BG can do 200 at a time. People do this because the BG's don't have time to do it them self, this is one of the biggest reasons why we need more help one or two new BG's who are around in the day time.

Merge requests are also not done sometimes due to the BG's not having time to do them, & if they are done it's being done long after the requests have been made sometimes the next day.

This is another reason why we need more BG's around in the day time

It's all about getting the comp forum back to running smoothly & not leaving Glad with 40 Pm's every day to deal with & also give Dalkrist some peace while he is unwell
