I've now started reply to this thread 4 times. For the first 3, I deleted what I wrote before posting. This is because I just think, what is the point? We have been raising this as a problem for months - with no blame whatsoever attached to any BG.

One of two things is happening, either this is a problem, in which case it is about time it was addressed. Or there isn't a problem, in which case it was about time that someone who knows explained how things are actually working fine in spite of how it appears.

On the main comp page it shows that we have 4 BGs:

Mrs Tine - whose signature shows the boards she BGs for - none of them are connected to comping.

Divadee - who we only know from rumours isn't BGing here anymore - no signature to say that she's a BG

Dalkirst - who understandably is taking it easy at the mo for health reasons.

Glad - who seems to be pretty much doing the job alone, but isn't saying whether she needs help or not. And now cannot be pmed, so where does that leave us?

I know I sound ungrateful, and I'm honestly not. I appreciate this board and indeed this whole site LOADS. We get all this here, and don't even pay anything for it. But that's part of the reason I'm so wound up. I'm extremely proud of our little forum. I hate things like this that probably could and should be sorted. What can we do though?

Part of me thinks we should pm Mrs Tine for BG things. She is listed as our BG after all. Again, I'm not getting at her. She probably does plenty of great work on this site for other threads. But all this treading on eggs shells is merely propping up a failing system, in my opinion.

I'm coming across as angry, and that's not how I feel, I'm just very frustrated at this going on and on. We can debate it forever, but we have no power to change anything. Those who do have the power are seemingly happy to leave us all in the dark.

There I've said it - and I'm glad to finally get that off my chest.

I totally agree with you, we are all running round like blue bottomed fly's plugging the gap of BG's & nothing ever gets done about the situation

It's very frustrating

I just do not understand why someone from MSE can not come on here & make a post to say what is happening & why we don't get more help.

There is nothing more we can do except keep pming someone from MSE & hoping one will grace us with a reply!

It would be great if when Glad is able to post if she can't at the moment I only know she can not get PM's & let us know what the heck is going on. We know Dalkrist has asked MSE but has Glad asked for more help?

I was talking to Dalkrist by PM at the time he wrote that. And he told me by PM that he was now going to PM MSE Towers to let them know the situation & ask for more help on the board

I have just sent a PM to Darren the official Forum Manager & explained all about our 4 BG's one was only to tide us over xmas rush, one is no longer a BG & who we really have on the board Glad who is not getting any PM's, & poor Dalkrist being very ill & can not do much at all. So no board merges are being done

I have linked our asking for a new BG in the forum feed back section, I have told him I have pmed MSE Debs twice & that dalkrist has also Pmed someone at MSE asking for more BG's

I have explained that a lot of people are doing as much as they can to keep such a busy fast moving forum going but we need help asap

i have asked if we can have a BG from a different board to help us ASAP & some new BG's appointed ASAP as well

I will let you all know if I get a reply
