I am sorry you find my comment appalling as that was not my intention. My intention is to make the forum run like it used to do which was you, & Dalkrist mostly with a little help from others.

The amount of people on here now has increased a huge amount since the other comp board closed & it's lovely to have them here, but this has increased the amount of work we are ahving to do when no BG's are around & we can't keep it up, we just don't have the time to do it where getting a extra BG would be the answer

You are right Glad we have no idea on what you are doing about the situation because you don't TALK to us. O.K you may not want to talk to me, I get that! but there are a lot of other people on here that have also raised the same questions time & time again & you have not talked to them either

It is not working Glad as so many people would not be clicking on every expired comp one by one to get them off the boards, where as you as a BG can do 200 at a time, yet you sit back & watch the same people every day go through them all & say nothing, why?

Once again why are expired comps an urgent (or any) problem if they remain on the main board for a while?

Before a solution to a problem can be looked at you first have to identify the problem and its impact so if a solution is needed the time and effort put in to it are proportionate to the problem being solved..

No-one thinks that Glad Imho, I personally think luckyone is just getting a bit enthusiastically carried away with this.

Don't think for one moment you aren't appreciated as you and the other bg's are needed and a much wanted part of our board.

In answer to the thread title; no we shouldn't press expired on duplicate competitions. From advise by other posters I was going with pming Glad and Dalkirst as in the past as this has always worked for me.

The expiring comps; I got the feeling that some people actually like doing this as it makes them feel they are contributing. It's not that big an issue to most peoples comping (waits to be shot down in flames for that one).

This is a much better run forum than some I have been on and this board in particular I have found to be well run. If it wasn't I imagine a lot of people would use somewhere else for comping.

That says it for me too. I'm quite certain that Luckyone and nobody thinks of you that way Glad. We're very glad to have our Glad.

Absolutely not.
Imo the board is not suffering in any way. Its just the bi-monthly grumble that people have. Last time it was bumping threads, this time its expired comps. Next time .... who knows, maybe the titles will be the wrong size?
