    Hi Mummy,
I have been to the school again this morning about the incident, poor DD was stabbed in the head with a sharp pencil which left a mark for 3 days...it is being dealt with by the school but needless to say I am very unhappy,

Aw thank you, Im getting there with my pots. Its my dream to take DD to Disney for my 40th and to have the time of our life...just a small matter of saving to do first ;).

    Hi MrsP,
Here is to Fab New Life . I can honestly say that last week I began to see my old happy self re-appearing. Its been a long 3 years but we can both put it all behind us now...its been one hell of a journey.

    Hi Diary,

Well I still seem to feel happier overall in myself and things are looking up.

I was reading in article in the Daily Mail and it said that people who get divorced normally take 4 years to get back to normality...so I guess 3 years is good then!

Had a couple of bits of good news this week regarding extra money from work, Ive just got to sit and wait to see if they come off...the Unions at work have to accept the offer from the company first.

Taking DD and DM out of Saturday for Mothers Day seeing as though I won't see either of them on Sunday (well will see DD from 4 onwards), we'll celebrate our Mothersday then. We need to pop to Tescos and Im just praying that DD doesn't cause a massive scene like she did last Saturday, she is at the stage where we goes on and on at me to get her things, and then cries really loudly when she doesn't get her own way. Im holding the ipad to ransom until she behaves.

It was pay day yesterday but I have to be good the next two months as I need to get as much as I can in my holiday pot whilst Im still getting over payments off X. If the money comes off from work I will have 4k in my holiday pot by June! I had a quick look at prices on Virgin for a Disney package and it was about £2700 each.

Think I might have to mow the lawn on Mothers Day...how can that be? A day for Mummy's and Im going to have to do the job I hate the most.

Flipping heck Livvy, I would be furious if that happened to one of my girls! At least they dealt with it but still some kids!

Haha thats so funny that DD carries on if you dont buy her what she wants. I dont take mine with me but thats not really an option for you is it! Keep that ipad ransom haha!!!

Have a lovely day tomorrow xx

    Hi Diary,

I can't believe its been a month since Ive updated my diary.

Not alot has changed really, got a nice 6% bonus in Aprils pay packet which has gone straight into the Disney fund and Ive ordered a new car (on lease).

DD is going to Disney Paris with X in August (for 2 nights because she doesn't want to be away from home any longer) so I have decided to got to Marbella for a long weekend with my bestest friend (we're both 40 this year).

I took a week off work at half term and managed to get the front garden dug and finished...just a few privets to put in now. It cost me way more than what I budgetted, but then these things always do don't they?

Ive made a start on the back garden now, DD's play house is underway (at step 7 of about 40 ).

I haven't heard anything from the roofers...typical! I keep chasing them but its like banging my head against a brick wall.

So this month I am hoping to spend a bit less so that I can make sure Ive got healthy pots when the new car comes and I have to start paying monthly...not coming until August now !!!!!!.

Its DM's 60th this month, Im taking her out for a meal and popping into York shopping for the day...can't see that being cheap. But Birthday fund is doing OK so I guess it will come out of there.

    Hi Mummy,
I do try to go shopping without DD, but like you say sometimes its not practical. I have tried giving her a pound to spend but then she whinges all the way round about getting to the sweet aisle. :rotfl:The joys!

Food is planned for the next month, Ive bought a deep fat fryer, loving my hm chips nom nom.
