Its my Friday today...because Im off work tomorrow YIPEEE!
Going to get my money back on a few items and put the light up in the front room before going out to lunch with mum.
This afternoon I will make a list of the food I have in the cupboards and the meals I can make (both lunches and dinners)for the week, so we can use up what we have before I buy anything else. Need to get a good look in the fridge tonight.
X must have received his letter coz he has sent a text confirming access. Wonder if his solicitor will advise him not to have a go at me like he normally would...will soon find out.
Money isnt great but Im plodding on. Ill get through December and then things should be OK.
Home insurance sorted out yesterday. Its £10 a month cheaper than before, Compare the market actually asked me if the last 2 claims were in the house Im in now...I reckon thats why its cheaper. I claimed my free meerkat too lol.
Oooh nearly forgot, I lost all my text messages off x when I upgrated my iphone, so I called a number on Tuesday (thinking it was apple) who said they would fix it for me for a huge fee...£120. I said I wouldn't pay it and hung up. I then called the apple store on Wednesday who put me through to apple care who fixed it for free. He said I had called a scam!!!! Good job Im tight now. :rotfl:

Afternoon Diary,
Thought I had better check in seeing as though its been so long.
Money is doing OK considering. Spoke to CSA yesterday who said that ex has failed on his quest to get his 52 night sleep over discount (coz I confirmed he has only done 10) and also they have the info they need off his employer regarding his wage. So looks like I will be getting a little bit more than he paid me before he stopped, I imagine he will be in a right mood seeing as though he said I wouldn't get as much and he knew because he had checked!!!!
Anyway he is going off on holiday next week...hope he doesn't spend what he owes me!
Pressies mostly wrapped, cards written and Ive started making a list for Christmas food mmmmm.
Off to York shopping on Friday so Im looking forward to that...and I won't be desperately trying to find pressies.
DD was in two shows at the weekend and she has another one on Thursday. She is such a little star, she was a sheep and she kept waving at me from the back...bless her. School one on Thursday.
Looking forward to Christmas but panicking slightly about the night time incase DD doesn't want to sleep at x's. Off to solicitors tomorrow so will get a letter sent out in response to his request for more consecutive over night stays, hardly suitable when she won't even go for one night. More money.

Hi Livvy,
Oh so it just was for the CSA discount why he wanted her to sleep.. cheeky sod! Hope you get the money soon then. Thats nice of him to jet off just before Christmas! When is he supposed to be having DD?
Oohhh I love York! Enjoy yourself xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy,
Well its been the same all year, he has cancelled DD 18 times and thats not including his 5 weeks holiday! Good job I have kept a diary.
I haven't heard from the csa this week, I will give them a call for an update later...he will be holding things up as usual.
York was so lovely, we had mulled wine and the most gorgeous lunch....which was very pricey but worth it.
I am desperate for Pay Day on Wednesday ha ha.

Hi Livvy,
It is a good job you kept your diary!
Nearly payday for you yippee!!! 3 weeks today for me! Not sure when DH gets paid, he usually gets paid last working day but always early before Christmas... just not sure when!
Hope youre ok xMummytogirls x0 -
Morning Mummy,
Im good thanks, hope you're OK too.
YEY its pay day today, Ive been and filled up my pots. Hope your DH gets paid soon as 3 weeks is a long time for you to wait.
I know, it is good I kept a diary. So many people told me to and I have kept one now for 3 years lol, maybe one day everything will be over and I can do away with it...wishful thinking.
Today I am making a list of what I need to do over the next few days, I have birthdays coming up and I need to go shopping, plus I need a food plan for January.
I have had a word with myself and I need to stop spending. Hopefully next year I will have some savings again, Ill probably need them for court fees at this rate.
DD has her school fair tonight, its windy and rainy so I hope its in doors!
Then after tomorrow I am off for 2 weeks...bliss (well as blissful as it can be with a 5 year old).
Im trying to think of ideas for Xmas Eve, we're going to bake in the morning, watch Santa Claus on the afternoon (with pop corn) and then we're out to the local soft play on the night to see the big man himself. Its the bits in between Im stuck with, I want to make it really special...our first Xmas in our new home.

Hi Livvy,
Happy New Year to you! Hope youve had a lovely Christmas with DD xxMummytogirls x0 -
Hi Mummy, Happy New Year! x
Well I figured it was time to post after a very long spell off.
But quite frankly I don't know where to start this week money wise.
Had a lovely Christmas and NY with DD, we did some lovely things and I even managed to get out with the girls for a night on Boxing Day. I wasn't feeling my best the day after I can tell you, but it was worth it.
So this week...where do I start?
I lost two roof tiles on Boxing Day in the high winds...I suspect they came off whilst I was out or I was that comatosed I didn't hear them fall off when I got in. Anyway on the plus side they missed my car (by about 2 inches). The roofer I called came round and quoted £40, then it took a week for him to not get in touch with me (I got in touch with him) and he said that he was going to work on a contract so couldn't do it. So I got in another roofer who said £80 then after trying to get on the roof said £220 when he realised he needed scaffolding. All the time I am panicking because the winds have been that strong I thought the rest of the tiles would fall off and maybe hit my car this time.
Anyway luckily a friend of a friend came round yesterday shinnied up the drain pipe and replaced the tiles for £50 (every cloud...), whilst the burglar alarm was getting fitted £295.
On Wednesday the Child minder asked for me to pay this month at the end of the month (as normal) and next month at the beginning...£600.
DD needed new shoes...£35
Still no money off X, the CSA have now issued him with a warning letter, he has 7 days to reply and then they go direct to his employer. All the while he is standing on my door step saying he can't afford to pay me what the CSA have quoted so he is having it reassessed, looking for sympathy after he had five holidays last year!!! Then he stands there with tears in his eyes asking for DD to sleep over every Sat night (after we agreed it was too much for her yet). I have a sneaky feeling it is to get his CSA 52 night sleep over discount again. Now Im sorry if this sounds cruel, but did I stand and cry when he made me pay half of a car I wasn't driving for a year? Do I stand and cry because I haven't had any money off him since September? Did I cry when he took 50% out of the house when I had put the majority in? No I rise above it and take each blow gratiously. I have had enough...can you tell lol????
I was really looking forward to this week too...I love 1st Jan to get organised. I have cleared the house out of all unwanted stuff, been through the freezer and made a meal plan, filled in my tax return (apparently they owe me money but Im PAYE so not sure why), been to aerobics, made a start on the decorating the bathroom and done all my ironing (although wash basket full again).
So a bitter sweet week for me really with good and bad...lets hope next week is a little better (BTW I have £100 until pay day on 25th...can she do it? (drum roll)

Morning Diary,
Well this week is a million times better than last week already.
I had a lovely weekend, seeing friends, walking and having fun again...forgotten what that was like for a bit! I also had the car cleaned and cleaned it out inside and last night I did some little jobs around the house which Ive been meaning to do for ages.
Yesterday I got my tax rebate and a phone call from csa to say they were sorting out a payment plan with x, he asked if he could pay me direct...erm I don't think so! Im not taking that risk. Im not sure I'll get anything this month though as they have to get it in before payroll cut off which is normally about now.
I have been sticking to the meal plan and I have £41 to last until pay day (next Friday). I put £25 petrol in yesterday because thats all that was left in the petrol pot, hope it lasts.
So off to keep fit again on Thursday YEY...will have to have good plasters to cover the huge blisters I got from the walking.
Pot balance at the start of the year is £431 (minus £263 if HMRC ask for it back lol).

Morning Diary,
Its a horrible wet morning here. Pitch black until I dropped DD off at the child minders...about 8:15.
Popping to the chemist tonight on the way home to collect my tablets and I need to go to Mr A (because its next door) for a couple of bits for our lunches. DD is out of cheese strings, yoghurts and crisps and I am out of wraps. Hoping to keep the spends as low as poss. Going to keep fit again too.
When I left my old job they bought me a voucher for a spa day, so Ive just booked it for 2nd Feb. Something to look forward to. This is the new me this year, learning to enjoy life.
OMG I have made a call to the CSA and Im getting my first payment at the beginning of Feb...YIPEEE!
X has just cancelled picking up DD tonight so its going to be a mad rush for me after work now grrr. I must not let it spoil my mood chant chant chant.
