  • Hi Diary,

Had a very busy weekend, but I had a blast. Races were great and and the sun was shining and it was made even better as we had a couple of winners which topped up the drinks kitty.

Yesterday I was up and about by 9:30, I hung the washing out and put another load in, polished and hoovered downstairs, took DD out to a play area and then in my three hours when x has DD I got the rest of my jobs done. Also made 7 gluten free meals for the freezer :A.

Today Im taking the afternoon off work to go home and mow the lawn plus do as many other jobs (off my list) as I can fit in before DD gets home tonight.

Just had a letter off the solicitor to say that x's solicitors have made an amendment to the legal wording on the consent order so now the document will have to go back to x for signing...thats another 3 months added on then. Im so frustrated.

Money isn't great, but it isn't too bad. I reckon if I take it steady for the next two weeks it'll be fine. Looking forward to my wages this month with pay rise and cost of living rise all at once :D.

  • Hi there,

Well yesterday was a success, it was lovely and warm and I managed to get my gardens looking lovely and lawns mowed (all stripey). Winter clothes are out of the loft and summer clothes in, coats sewed, shoes cleaned, ironing done, bedding washed. Yipeeee.

Then the most horrendous thing happened...I sat down with my feet up at 8:30 to catch up on X factor with my choccies (the ones I left in the changing rooms in Next and the girl kindly put away for me) only to find that some one had opened them and eaten half. AAAARGH!:mad::mad: Aw I was so upset. I have complained to Next as when the girl found them they were still in the red clintons bag, when I picked them up they were not. So I reckon a member of staff has eaten them. Either way I have complained because I was so cross.

I've just printed off my meal plan for the next 4 weeks to stick on the freezer, that way I will know what to get out of the freezer ready the night before so DD isn't waiting too long for her tea.

Out for tea and a play at the soft play tonight.

    Hi Mummy,

I know, you just wouldn't would you? I couldn't eat the rest because I kept thinking of the filthy fingers that had touched them. Scruffy gits.

  • Morning All,

Well I feel totally refreshed today, DD has nearly done a full week of staying in her own bed until at least 6am. I haven't had any wine for a week either whilst I come off the steroids, so all factors contributing to my fresh feeling.

This weekend we only have Disney on Ice planned so Im looking forward to catching up with myself and not feeling stressed. I need to get a bit of fresh food in for packed lunches (I have worked out £15 spend) but apart from that there shouldn't be any other spends either.

Started my Christmas shopping today. Two pressies for DD, so I'm underway YIPEEE :D :rudolf:

    Hi Livvy,

How was Disney on Ice? We took the kids last November and they enjoyed it.

Long may the fresh feeling continue ha!! xx

  • Hi Diary,

    Hi Mummy,
Disney on Ice was great thanks, DD loved it and wants to be Rapunzel when she grows up :rotfl:

I think the fresh feeling has well and truly gone lol. Ive been so busy this week at work and when I get home on a night Im really tired. I reckon its got something to do with me tapering the steroids.

Anyway life isn't too bad, still waiting for x to sign the final doc for the divorce (nothing new there). Ive managed to scrape together £520 for the final Solicitors bill...not sure of exact amount of bill yet. But Ive had to use all the money in my car pot, it gets it out of the way though I guess.

Curtains are looking to be ready this week...YIPEEE! So I have ordered the wallpaper and fabric for the cushions and I will pay my credit card back out of the home pot next week.

Petrol is just under half a tank, if I need to go and collect my curtains then my petrol will definitely not last me until pay day...I have £50 left in petrol pot, could have done with saving this to cover the Sol's bill but c'est la vie. Just means all my pots will be starting from scratch on pay day.

Home made carrot and suede mash with salmon for tea tonight...mmmm.

    Afternoon Livvy,

Awww im glad DD enjoyed Disney! Were there loads of people outside selling balloons and stuff?!

Im glad youve managed to scrape the money together for the solicitors bill, like you say its best to get it out the way! Hopefully its less so a little bonus for you.

Isnt it your payday next week? Hopefully the £50 petrol you put in will stretch well into next month for you!!

    Have a good weekend xx

  • Friday YIPEEE. One week until payday....phew!
Ive had a very uneventful week, just doing the daily routine zzzzz. Mind you, I haven't felt stressed out so all good for the tummy.

Hi Mummy, yes there were people selling ballons and tat all over the place, DD was allowed to spend £15 on a globe and no more. She did try and get a lantern too but I stuck to my guns.

Guess what?? I don't have to go the 28 miles to pick up my curtains as some one from work has offered to get them for me :D, which means the petrol will probably last until pay day as I'm not going anywhere all weekend. So I may have another £50 to put towards dreaded solicitors bill.

I am hoping its going to be less Mummy, but I can't see it.

Tonight is pizza night for DD and I, then tomorrow we will get our hair done. Sunday will probably be spent cleaning and filling out the dreaded tax return.

Picked up the ipad case this morning which I ordered off Amazon, I waited 3 weeks for it because it came from HongKong! I didn't see in the description it was coming from there...will definitely check the small print next time.

I put the washer on over night and washed the bathroom rugs and towels, hung them over the radiators this morning as I think it might rain later.

    Have a lovely weekend everyone
