I hope all those suffering with colds are soon feeling much better, you included, Helen. Brilliant saving I see, amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it and stick to it! BTW, if YOU didn't pick up the Tube Kill, someone else would have - grab quickly and don't hesitate! I've noted your banked cash, thanks for putting it on your siggy. We are now thanks, little_sweetie, I hope you and G are too.Be with you shortly.
Great news about the Thr33 cash, Ruth.It all helps.Thrifty_Fashionista wrote:2p from buying milk today , well I guess it all helps
Darn sure it does, Thrifty Fashionista! Imagine IF you were to be able to do it daily??! Every little bit is of benefit. Well done on ditching the papers, that'll save a huge amount. Hubby and I did that about 16 years ago and have saved a fortune! :j
Go all out to save, Ellie_B, you'll be so glad you did - then keep it up regularly as it's then when you really get benefits!
VERY well done, Kerry, and thanks. :grinheart
Brilliant, sparky, thanks for the giggle time. :rotfl:
Lynsey, I won't say what I'd like to say until Saturday, but I will then for sure! By golly you're doing well gal. :T
I hope you're feeling so very much better now, dinglefoot, I've had terrible heads for a few days too, but not migraines!SammyJo1206 wrote:I potted a £10 note today! Into my tip pot.... Funny, a note doesn't have the same satisfactory plunk as coins do!
Wouldn't you look if it did, SammyJo!! :rotfl:I am DYING to open my pot! It's like a really bad chocolate craving!! This is my first year saving it really is so exciting and better than spending on debt!
A lot better satisfied than having to have a calorie fix though. It'll soon be time, Determined diva, so be patient. Fantastic to hear it's your 1st year saving!!! :j:T:j Treat your pot as you would an unexploded bomb....leave well alone and keep away except for potting.
Well done, cutestkids, and good to see you dropping by.
Thanks mummytummy, and won't those days fly by too! Aha.... And it's only 43 now!
You have a WONDERFUL time in Mexico, Emily!
Lovely to see you, Donna. Not long now!
Are you home from Tenerife yet, LC 2??
 I'm so pleased for you, Nell, all the best for a good (as it gets) time, and rest well during and after. {{{Hugs}}}
Our DGD set off for Florida today and will be there for a few days then.........they go on a cruise around the Caribbean!! All funded by her DBF's parents!!!!!

Dinglefoot - once I have this lot of chemo done on Friday, I only have one more to go - yay It is currently schedule for 8 November but it depends on how quickly I recover from the one that goes in on Friday. Hoping to have next lot of surgery before Christmas, but if it looks like it will be a few days before then I will wait until after the festivities. Then towards end of January I will start radiotherapy (every working day for 4 weeks). I start Herceptin (non chemo drug) on Friday and have to wait at chemo unit for 6 hours after it goes in to see if I have any reaction (it is toxic to the heart). I desperately need to get through a 12 month course of Herceptin to give me a good chance of staying freee from cancer in the longer term. I will have 18 lots of Herceptin across 12 months. Oh and Tamoxifen for 5 years. Not for the faint hearted this stuff, as one of my friends kindly said to me the other day when she asked if I was all done with treatment after chemo It is currently schedule for 8 November but it depends on how quickly I recover from the one that goes in on Friday. Firstly let me say - I'm Potting another £10.06....so that TAKES ME OVER THE £200 MARK!!!!! :j :T :j
Thank you to everyone that has kept me going and kept on encouraging me.....even though I had a rough start to saving earlier on in the Year....but I think I've done all-right over the past couple of months!!
Secondly...a question for you Sue....I've saved over £200....but Banked £35 of that....so do you want me to put the Total as the figure that is NOT Banked...and then put the Banked Figure in Brackets? At the moment I've left it as the Total total...If that made ANY sense whatsoever!! LoL :rotfl:
*Hugs* to all those that need them....0
