Haven't potted all week - I'm back to using my cashback CC to pay for stuff meaning less change for the pot. A tiny 1p roadkill from when I was working away during the week....it would've been lonely if I hadn't picked it up
Hugs to all who need them :ASPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0 -
Evening everyone
£5 into the jar and I also found a lovely shiny 5p on my way back from the in laws. Woop, road kill!!

Ahh not really, I've got M.E which gives me terrible stomach/IBS issues so I have a huge fear of going anywhere and needing the loo. I had a bad episode about 5 weeks ago while in town which has just compounded the problem so every time I step out the door the panic sets in which in turn makes me need the loo
. I'm actually booked to see a hypnotherapist on Tuesday to see if she can help with the anxiety and the rediculously limited amount of food I can eat as currently I'm surviving on about 1000 - 1200 calories a day if that
.
Thankfully she's agreed to come to me rather than me to her as I can't be in a strangers house and need the loo  I'd be so embarrassed*Hugs* I suffer from IBS too, so a lot of that sounds familiar and I can definitely empathise with you
I've gone through phases of not eating much because of the IBS (either because of wanting to avoid needing the loo or because of the nausea/cramps that eating can cause). At the moment *touch wood* I seem to be controlling the IBS and therefore the anxiety surrounding it fairly will, but I'm very low in iron levels and although I was prescribed tablets at the end of June I'm too scared to take them in case it messes me up again
Seeing a hypnotherapist sounds like a good idea, I hope it goes well
Nothing to pot today as I had a NSDWe traded our treadmill for my OH's grandparents exercise bike today, so I'm looking forward to using that

To anyone on here suffering with IBS:
I've had this in varying degrees for over 20 years
It's now almost under control thanks to my brilliant GP who I moved to 6 years ago
He prescribed Imodium & Fybogel together, which seems counter-intuitive cos they do opposite things, but after a year taking those I was able to stop the Fybogel, and now I take 1 Imodium a day. I had stopped eating fruit & veg cos of their effect but now I can even eat acidic things like apples in moderation
I know this may not apply to everyone cos IBS has so many different ways of acting but I thought it might help someone?

Well, I've been doing this now for just a week and I was curious how many pennies I could save in a week once I put my mind to it and so I decided to count up what I have so far and WOWZAS!
