Sounds as though you're feeling quite awful, Ruth, why not see your Dr. Do take great care and hugs for you to get well soon. BTW, here's a well-earned gold star for a lovely welcome. :staradmin Well done on your teddy £5er!!!!!!

Thank you for my star :D

I'm not really one for doctors, it's going off now, still got the headache and only feel sick if i see/smell a lot of food. I'm all right in small portions.

It was actually £40 as there turned out to be 8 £5 in total. I haven't been to a football match in at least 2 years so they must have been sat there all that time! lol

Well done on your £15 :D your total seems to be adding up nicely. I wonder, do you and sparky still get excited for count-up-day, even though you have all that work to do?

Had to get change for the carpark yesterday from £5. Parking cost £1.60 so I potted the remaining £3.40. Nice healthy potting deposit there!

Ahh Sue im loving the new car, though got serious new car syndrome! I dont want anyone within 10 ft of it at any time, nearly shouted out the window at one of the kids from the street when they rode their bike up the curb in front of my bonnet  had to restrain myself :rotfl: though if he had wobbled and scratched my paintwork id have had him by the ear up the road to his mum (told you my new car syndrome was bad :o)

Am growling at DH as it now has 60 miles on the clock and I havent even driven it yet (ok I can hardly get out the door at the minute but thats beside the point!) I am going to pick Miss Lily up from school today (being forced by DH) so will get to have a drive in 20 minutes :D

No pennies for the pot as we are seriously brassic  what with the car and the G****** Board all my pennies have gone   hope the kids dont want to eat for the rest of the week

So, i was hunting for a teddy for mother this morning (for one of her baby parrots) when i spotted a crisp £5 note sticking out of an old football programme. I opened the programme to take out the £5 and he had 7 friends, all as crisp as he was :D £40 for the pot!! (not actually going into the pot as i don't want them to get crumpled haha)

Lucky duck crimson! Bet that felt like Christmas!

Well my big pot has had a slot cut in the top and been completed sealed. Plus I put a penny in it already. My Mum used to say it was bad luck to have an empty purse or piggy bank and seeing as my plans for the next year include winning the lottery, I don't want to tempt fate! :A So I am all set for next years sealed pot challenge........seriously, did aliens kidnap me over night.....since when am I ever this organised!? :p

    Morning Crimson.Addict
I can honestly say that after being official Counter Upperrer for the last few years I still get excited when the grand total is nearing last years total, then when it passes it there's such a buzz. The amount of people who have been converted to savers rather than spenders thanks to Sue's :A efforts keeping this thread going still amazes me, how she keeps it up all the time is a mystery to me. In 12 weeks time that buzz is going to be taking over again.

That's why it's so important for everyone to have their number in their signature plus if they bank any money to also add that to it. The spreadsheet is ready and I'm adding new members as and when they join our close knit community.

Nice find on the £40 BTW :T

    Have a great day

Morning all, horrible day here today!! At least I don't have to water the lawns or plants. lol

sparky0107 - hopefully we'll smash last years target - more counting for you though. :D

I need milk, but can't be bothered to go out. I'll get a few coins though from the s/scan till.

I've finally completed my grocery donation this week and managed to stock up for the foodbank some boxes of Nestle cereal from the Nestle factory shop (37p and 57p per box).
Dilemma time now though!! Do I continue?? It does give a buzz though.
With all the freebies/glitches/coupons I've donated well over £300 worth of food, toiletries etc.
Just need to deliver it all now.

    Right, where's my brolly. :rotfl:

But, I'm determined to get back on this Wagon and at least get over £100 in the Pot before we open it....and work out the Totals!!

So, another £11.50 in the Pot today....making a good start...

*Hugs* to all those in need of them....
