Had to open my note tin today in hopes of finding some money for a DP's mother who needed $100, guess who was surprised to find $250 in there?! Me. I will put the rest back away in the back of the shelf since I get money tomorrow and thus don't need the rest of the $150.Sealed Pot Challenger #2080 2013

I agree with the others who have suggested lightly frying
Oooo they went down a storm! Fried off the mushrooms and made a very small white sauce (just enough to coat everything so it wasn't too dry . . . Ds didn't even realise it was in there) both kids didn't like the mushroom so will have to [STRIKE]cut it much smaller[/STRIKE] leave it out of theirs next time
Even DH said it was really filling . . . An couldn't finish his plate  this has never happened in the 16 years I've been with him  :rotfl: but big thumbs up all round and hav already been asked when am I making it againSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -
Potted £1 yesterday and found a lonely 1p in the car today so that's gone in as well. It's addictive this change hunting!!0

Not a lot to report but I did find 7p in roadkill at the Co-Op this afternoon so that has gone into the jar. Always amazes me that 9 times out of 10 I find money on the floor in that store yet it is in the poorest part of town. I went to church earlier and had a chat with the vicar about getting married in his church, and he said he would like to marry us and asked us to call him during the week to arrange a date to meet up for more of a chat about getting married and to do some paperwork things. Sooooo excited, I almost skipped out of the church :rotfl::D eeeek :T

A teeny tiny 20p in the pot today
ummmm I may have accidently spent £155 on pand0ra charms  darn that bloomin grabbit board! In my defence I did get 2 pairs of platinum plated earrings and 2 leather pand0ra bracelets (totalling £120) for freeso really it had to be done didn't it . . . and half the charms DH is hiding away for me for xmas (its the 2 I informed him he was buying me so it kind of made sense to buy them while they were offering free stuff for a £75 spend
) and the rest im buying myself with my birthday/xmas savings so not really a naughty spend was it???

Evening all
Happy weekend's potting to report; the car boot sale yesterday raised about 25 pounds after taking out entry fee and bribes to keep DS and DD quietShame about all the stuff that has had to come home again and live in boxes in the garage until the next time!
Also 10p from a (non-live) trouser rummage before putting said item of clothing in the washing basket (why does nobody in my family ever put their laundry where it belongs instead of leaving it in a heap on the floor )
Not so good was the school shoe run; pay more for them than for my ownLet's hope the kids' feet don't grow too much for a while now so that we can stretch a whole school year out of them again...
jakes-mum, what is a grabbit board? Can I use it for my Trollbeads if it works for your Pandora charms :rotfl:
Have a good week everybody, and long may the sun keep shining to keep us smiling!!SPC No. 104 (oh no I've lost my magic 2000!)
SPC 2013: £378.23 (paid for Christmas, yippee!)
