I'm having a morning of baking - scones (were supposed to be cheese but with 3 monkeys running around I forgot to put it in.....), and I've got shortbread in now. Going to make a pizza to take to a friends tomorrow and some butterfly buns as it's her DD's 3rd birthday.
40p in the pot this morning which DH had left out of his wallet ;-)Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
Morning all, hope all are well or feeling better at least.
I've had a very frugal weekend and will follow that with a very frugal food fortnight (at least). Hopefully clear some of the "stash" and save a little. TBH, the whole of September will be "food frugal" and just picking up basics and good reduced stuff.
Hoping for that "Indian Summer" (fingers crossed).
Potted just £2.60, which included a brand new ultra-shiny £2 coin. lol
£515+ potted so far and steadily potting away until "pay day" (28th Nov).

It's been making me feel a bit nauseous and dizzy and I've been doing wally things because of it. Hopefully it'll pass soon, I reckon it's a mixture of stress and 'Aunt Flo' hormones!
I have been like that just recently. Been having to try and wear my glasses whenever i am outside. I have been really poorly so i hope it's all linked and will soon all go away! Doesn't help that i've been so blooming sleepy all the time!
I bought a £50 scottish note yesterday (for £50) because it was all new looking. That also means i won't spend it so i may be adding it to my pot totalSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Hey! I haven't been saving much recently, I was ill a couple of months ago and had 7 weeks off work. This meant I had to use all the cash I'd saved up at home to pay for stuff while I was in hospital.
So I'm starting from scratch until I count what I've got left in my money box and my online savings account. I know I could just do the virtual pot for that but I prefer to have it all as one big total on here
So put me down for £1,000 pleaseSavings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.0 -
Oooh, how exciting jakes-mum,what are you getting?
Hope you feel better soon, Crimson. It's horrible feeling tired and illI've got a headache yet again today. This is the 4th one I've had in the last 6 or 7 days and I'm fed up with it. Feeling light sensitive again. Dreading work tomorrow in case I have yet another headache there and have to endure the bright garish lighting again. Seriously considering getting a pair of glasses made up with a very slight tint on them.
Hope you're feeling better now willow
It was my day off today so I've been at home all day and managed not to do any online shopping either, so it's been an NSDBut nothing to pot as a result of that!
