I know it's a bit late in the year but could I join? I have a pot here and am ready to give it a go. Think I'll start by putting all the copper from my purse into it and I think there is already a £2 in it to start me off. :)

, you sound completely at home here, we're all just a little scatty. :D Not scatty enough that we don't now how to save well though. :j All the best with your job - or a job you're happy with!I used to wear nail varnish but not for a good while now, just be sure not to apply it too thickly ie. don't give it a double coating.

Didn't do much potting last week - mainly because I didn't spend much money so that's kind of good news :D

Ended up with just over £1 in change and a £1 coin which were potted yesterday. Hoping to have another low spending week - not good news for the pot but very good for the budgeting :A

Do your best, MissE, that's all we can all do. ;)

Fantastic work, Emily, you're doing grand.

I'm getting very tempted to count what's in the pot, but I must not...hopefully it'll be a nice surprise because I have no idea how much is in there :)

NO, no, do, dinglefoot!! :naughty: You'd regret it straight away and all that excitement that we will all have in November would be gone for you. Be patient and proud. :D

Very well done with that part of the LOOP, Rosy and all the best for the next.

Don't worry, LC 2, I honestly do understand as it's been hectic here with the kiddies too. It's great though! :A

Third lot of chemo went in this morning and I am now half way through the 6 cycles :)

Just waiting for the fatigue to hit and that will be me flat out for 7 days, but its worth it :)

Indeed it is worth it, Nell, I love your positivity. Many hugs for you.

Oh dear, jakes-mum, your poor kids! *rolls eyes to the sky* Where's your head these days...best double check everything in future - or better still get someone else to! :rotfl:

Don't worry, Lindylou68, there's no great need to trundle through all the posts, you just look after yourself and get well soon. That holiday will have done you the world of good. :D

Southerman - my local 99p shop had OPI nail polish in it last week. Its the "crackle" polish but was in some nice winter colours like dark purple, silver etc.....all for 99p per bottle which is a bargain for OPI. I got one for me and one for my god daughter.

Thank you Sue-UU, I've added my number to my signature and subscribed too. I have lots to learn here! Hoping to store away £100 so I need to push it.

My pot had a £2 coin in it already and I added exactly 50p in shrapnel so off to a decent start.

    afternoon all

Yes, sorry I have been AWOL again, have had a stinking cold, the sort that lingers on your chest....

anyway, I have been potting away 3 x £2 for the owls head and as the VW campervan is now full, I have been putting the change in a dish, had over £30 in there but its suddenly gone very light.... challenge DB and he said, he needed it for dinners for clients at work (they have a very good canteen), grrrrr......

sold some bits n bobs on the local f*acebook page and made £60 so will put £30 of this in the dish and save the rest in my ISA.

My new german student will be here tomorrow night, found out shes vegetarian but we are meat eaters so I think our meat intake will fall which can only be a good thing.

well time is trudging on and I think I should be making greengage jam and plum jam.... see you again soon, promise!:D:D

Just poking my (painful) head in this evening to say I'm potting £2.13 which was in my purse. It looked more than that because it's mainly 5ps and coppers :( Still, it all adds up ;)
