Hugs bells :) halfway now woohoo! Very much worth the fatigue :D

£1 FB sale today and sold some of my mums games and the lady gave me a £2 coin! I couldn't help myself, I potted it  don't worry I'll give my mum 2 x £1 coins in place of it, I won't diddle her :D :rotfl:

Also had a bit of shrapnel from ds having his back to school haircut and buying dd some undies (bless her she got dressed yesterday and said in a small voice 'mummy these knickers do hurt my legs' looked at the tags and they were all 6-7 years and she's in 7-8 :o even worse, went through her pj's and her nighties were 4-5 years   total cac mum alert!)

Hopefully more pennies tomorrow and mum has been told to buy dd some new pj's when they go school shoe shopping Saturday ;)

  • Evening everybody, sorry to have been AWOL... and for so long that I have come back to a new thread as the old one was obviously so overburdened!! Shame on me... ;) Have been a bit unwell in amongst other time-sapping things but my lovely doctor is trying to sort me out so hopefully will be firing on all cylinders again soon :D

Hope everyone is well and happy; I'm afraid I don't think I've the stamina to catch up on a month or more's worth of posts! Need to get back into the swing of things now and keep track of who's doing what!

Just back from a lovely sunny two week holiday in Normandy, very good for the soul but seriously skint now and needing a slew of NSDs! However, a good start as I did find 65p in DH's trouser pocket while sorting laundry at 5am today (don't ask; well do actually, I woke up believing I had been sleeping in a pigsty :( and no amount of kicking stopped the snoring  so I gave up trying to get back to sleep and got up to do something useful lol).

Night all; happy potting and catch you all later :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

    nell36 - half-way. Keep on smiling.

    Potted 4 x 20p coins today, so just 80p.
I'm being very frugal (need to clear some food), but need bits today like Aldi carrots, so see how it goes.

Weather dull today!! Working in the garden saves spending pennies. lol

Nice to see a few absent "potters" posting, still a few missing though (hope you are all well).

Hey Nell thinking of you today, only six more days to go until you'll be feeling better. :heart2:

No potting as I've been away, will raid my purse in a second. Need to do the online banking, short a couple hundred pounds this month so will be fun to see how the needed cash will emerge!! :D Still no dates for moving, 20 days to go until our tenancy finishes!! ;) Lots of faith required this month!! :A
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!
