I'm getting very tempted to count what's in the pot, but I must not...hopefully it'll be a nice surprise because I have no idea how much is in there :)

2 lovely £2 coins yesterday (bought from OH again) and some change, after a lovely day walking part of the LOOP (London Outer Orbital Path) in Essex. Last leg next weekend hopefully, then that'll be another long distance path walked, and it's been a really good one :)

Thinking of you today Nell, sending hugs and positive thoughts :)

Just waiting for the fatigue to hit and that will be me flat out for 7 days, but its worth it :)

  • Felt a bit miserable today because i'm currently on secondment in a department i love but i head back to my old job at the end of November (unless they decide to keep me on but nothing has been said regarding that)

Found out the job has changed so much in the 3 months i've been gone.

The only element i liked about it has been scrapped, they have changed everything to cold calling basically which i detest, my old bully boss has become head of department and whereas before i was doing 9-5, they're bringing in shifts which include 8pm working (i'd miss corrie) and saturdays... :(

So i felt really sad at dinner when i heard this from my friends who still work in that section and went out and treated myself to Illamasqua speckled nail varnish in purple.

I did manage to put 2p into my coin tin though!

Aw, southernman.....November's still a long time away so maybe things will change again before then and you'll land a job in your detached duty team. And well done for potting after splurging - they all add up you know :)

I've potted some smash today. I'm sure there's still cash in holding piggy which won't be checked till after I get paid at the weekend :D
