:rotfl: Hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, another £36.47 potted in last two weeks. Saved by walking and not catching bus or driving and paying parking fees plus some bedroom kill! I.e money from bedroom floors. It's all out war in this house with two kids savings pots to fill too! My son is Mr Moneybags, his is full of notes whereas my daughter seems to have a few coppers and a lot of dust in her pot!

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Just a single £1 potted.

See what later brings, if anything. Depends if there are any reduced bargains. lol

£656+ potted and I want another £9 by Sunday if possible.

    Keep potting.

Might seem a daft question...but... where do you all get these coins from day in day out? I do tend to carry cash in my purse but keep it for anything I might need that I wasn't prepared for, such as milk bread etc, poppy appeal blah blah blah.
Don't want to pot all my change cos it leaves me with none for 'just in case'. Just wondering if people have any specific processes/rules?

    Hi Beth

I set myself a daily allowance and what is left goes in my pot at the end of the day. Also any change DH has I [STRIKE]rob[/STRIKE] ask for lol Then there are the odd coin you find on the road in my case very rarely :rotfl:

  • Hi all

Just been scrolling through this thread this seems like a great challenge and I'd like to join in, but will probably start now for next years challenge.

I'll probably be mainly saving from my food shop, this is something I'm trying to work on anyway. Can I just put my leftover budget from my weekly shop in my pot??
