So much for my new years resolution to pop in here more often! I have been potting away but not as much as I'd hoped to, BUT, the best bit is that Christmas is sorted, everything ordered and paid for so the pot is MINE, ALL MINE!!!!!Oh, I'm going to have fun in the sales.

I know what you mean re the abuse, Lynsey, as it's happening in the larger towns here as well. Sad that some spoil things.

Oh dear on dear, Flat Eric, naughty you! :mad: If you read the 1st post of the 1st page you'll see what it says about having a holding pot, I reckon it could come in really handy for you - as would something to SEAL your pot so you can't get in!!!

Sorry, Ruth, I forgot that you're a 'counter as you goer' and I'm pleased with whatever makes you happy. Why isn't you Dad happy with your total so far? BTW, I'm pretty sure I let folk go ahead with adding their savings from the £2 challenge in the SPC last year as they said they didn't put it on a list at the end of the year on that challenge. As we do then it CAN be added here on the 28th as, like Christmas savings/stamps.

Thanks Sue, Am I best off waiting til the beginning of the next SPC? Like I say I've already started and so far potted £23.50 but want to continue until this time next year, will my number be the same from 28th Nov? Thanks

Hmm im beginning to suspect your changing the rules each year just to confuse us all :eek: I certainly remember a no multiple challenge rule from somewhere . . . I just cant guarantee that I didn't make it up meself :rotfl::rotfl:

Ive always started my new challenge same day as we open the pots, if I didn't that would be a whole 24 hrs of potting time lost :eek: you cant open your pots when you get up in the morning and then not put something in the new one till the next day! Sacrelidge!

You can start right now beth and just don't declare on 28th with the rest of us, your most welcome to keep going until next opening day and yes you keep the same number every year, we never remove a potter once they ask to join (though I think Sue has contemplated doing so in mine and LC2's case) that is your very own number for the rest of your life
