  • 2x lovely shiny £1 coins potted, hubby had them is in pocket as they were my change, so I rescued them and potted them as soon as they were left unattended :-)
  • £2.84 Potted this morning.....I WILL get to my £400 Target!!

Very tempted to Pot a £10 note....but I only have a certain amount of money for this Week and I'm going out on Friday Night so I might need it....and I don't want to Pot it and then have to take it back out again....so I'll wait until the end of the week and see what I have leftover....

Not long until Opening Day now!! :j

There is no way i could do this challenge without knowing how much i had. I'd go crazy!

    Ditto. lol
I like targets to aim for to keep myself motivated.
Next year, I'm going to save only 4 coin types again (£2, £1, 50p and 20p's) and I'm going to keep a tally of each in my sig. I should then know towards the end of how many coins I need of each type to have exact full bags to cash in. :D

Only a 20p coin in the holding pot (over £6 in there now). A pretty poor start, but I'll get some more during the week.

  • Morning,

another £2 in the pot :)
  • Ooh thanks I never knew that ... I may have potted some £2 coins in this challenge previously oops.

I'll take out the £2 coin that's in there then,
my total for spc now is £10.16

I may as well put any £2 coins I'm given into my emergency fund cup.

Charley, you can save £2 coins in your sealed pot. I think what Jakes-Mum meant is that you can't declare your £2 coins in this challenge and the £2 savers club. I save my £2 in my sealed pot because i am not a member of any other thread. Is the 1% challenge another thread on here or is it your own goal?
