    I potted £3 last night...I think...it might have been £4 but I can't remember...I was tired lol :D

I haven't really been keeping up with the thread and how everyone's doing the last week, as I've been studying like crazy for my OU course over the last week. Starting on my first assignment today!

Hope everyone's okay and hugs all round! :) Welcome to any new members too :D

By the way would there be another sealed pot challege after this one is over?
I'd like to start my saving pot challenge again for 2014 as I'd like to track how much I saved in the year. I kept loosing track this year lol.

    Edit:
I forgot to post this question.

Is It okay if the money I save in this challenge goes towards my 1% challenge
So I can start to repay £359.00 back into my savings account?

Go on, Ruth, you can do it!!! :j It's good to hear you're just over last year's Total, though how you know when the pot is sealed is beyond me?!! :undecided ;) Why not count up half of the cash that's in your car, or is it another HUGE savings pot? Good luck whatever and great news about cancelling your gym membership.

Sue - My pot counts my money up as i pot it and i have a spreadsheet that i add my potted amounts to also. There is no way i could do this challenge without knowing how much i had. I'd go crazy!

I have some more moneys to pot tonight. So excited for count up day. I told daddy he has to help count my pots and bag them up...... he wasn't best pleased when i told him my total thus far haha

There is a new challenge every year Charley Bear, new one will start as soon as we open the tubs on the 28th :D I think we are currently on the 6th year of SPC :j

Not sure re the 1% challenge  I know Sue-UU doesn't allow £2 coins to be used in this challenge and in the £2 coin savers challenge so I will leave that question for when the fearless leader returns to the thread :o

3 x £2 coins in my £2 coin tin today :D and some more schrapnel into the big tub :D I really CAN'T hold out till the 28th! I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to know how much is in there! and DH isn't helping by telling me to 'just open it, Sue will never know if you don't declare till count up day'

  • Oh goodie! Can't wait to start a new year of saving. It'll be nice for me to actually do a challenge completely for 1 year (I always have a habit of joining in the middle or the end of one lol)

Ooh thanks I never knew that ... I may have potted some £2 coins in this challenge previously oops.

I'll take out the £2 coin that's in there then,
my total for spc now is £10.16

I may as well put any £2 coins I'm given into my emergency fund cup.
