Could anyone help me? I've got a quick query about fees from a certain company- can I say the name? ESA? I did a frozen food supermarket for them last month and I've been paid £1 less than I thought I was getting (i.e. no expenses). I also did a tea/ coffee shop for them and I've been given the fee but no re-imbursement for what was bought on top. I always fill in my spread sheet at the time of accepting with the fees, but I just want to double check with a third party before I submit a pay query with them. Any help gratefully received! I've been having problems with Retail Active not paying me my expenses for the last 2 months too, but I've got them back now.

Those jobs are all inclusive aren't they?
  • I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience of a company called Store Checkers at all?

I do a fair bit for them and like them, though I know others don't like them. Their pay is a bit slow but it always comes through. Think they pay at the end of the month following a job, so if you do work now it will be paid at the end of September.

They also have some "behind the scenes" jobs which they give to the shoppers who have built a good reputation with them.

    HTH.

The ESA frozen food jobs are an all inclusive fee, shame it went down recently.

What communication are you waiting for?
Have you signed up on their site?
Have you been checking the job board?

Harsh and uncalled for Graeme. Signing up from the dole office is different from an online application.

Is this the governments way of reducing the welfare budget by getting people to signup as self employed so no dole money forthcomming.

If the likes of RE and RA get wind of this the fees will drop even further;)

Anyone started the IMS payment terminals yet? Hitting mine in a big way in the next three days, so I'm just wonderring if you've found any issues?
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

An unfortunate trend that has been inherited from people like tractorwoman, Josie, monkeyboy et al.

If you are a recognised name on the board your questions are responded to courteously. If you are not recognised then the response is either "read the first page" or a rude and sarcastic put down.

Maybe WeeGraeme would be a better name, because bullies usually are wee men trying to act big.

Thanks...I think I will give them a go! I'm dying to know what these behind the scenes jobs are :j
