Is it just my imagination, or have the boards changed to show way fewer posts per page?!

Have tweeted Martin about getting 7,000 people to sign up as mystery shoppers without even mentioning their tax liabilities, suggest others do likewise.

MDC are even saying in Facebook that you don't need to tell the taxman...

Has anyone considered the Tern loan jobs? Any thoughts on how it might effect your credit rating?

    Yes, they improved mine :rotfl:

I used to avoid credit so had a zero rating, taking a few of these and showing I can pay pack on time worked out well.

Careful, you are entering the results directly into a database, I've had to re-enter stuff before when I've logged on to the wrong account.

The irony if that email had contained everyone's email addresses would've been just too amazing to bear.

PeteW, I give serious consideration to any job that involves a credit check, etc.

I've done one job with TNS, that involved a credit check, but the fee was well worth it. I've since turned down jobs with both TERN and ESA as, if I'm going to get a credit check, then the fee needs to be well worth it. Additionally, I will probably restrict myself to 1 credit check job per year as I'm unsure as to the implications on ones credit rating.

Any one else got any thoughts on credit check jobs?

I do look very closely to see if credit checks are involved and avoid those that do. Seem to be a whole raft around at the moment where credit checks are required. If they do run a CC it will leave an imprint on your file and too many of those in a year will cause issues. I did a long bank job this week and had to steer the dialogue so didn't involve me changing current accounts as was convinced that would have triggered a CC.

Can I just check something before I do another ESA train visit? Does "the forthcoming Saturday" mean today or next Saturday? I think it means next weekend, but it's a lot of money I'll be shelling out and don't want to get it wrong. Just thought I'd run it past my learned forum buds before I head off out and spend a small fortune........
