Speaking of RA... has anyone successfully picked up one of the floral deliveries?... I can't see anywhere detailing how far you should be now from the florists... so no idea if I need to live nearby the florists (have applied and been refused for the delivery based on the old rules of within 2 miles, even though was well within the 2 miles)... or if you are to accept a florist in a different city or town for example to where they are to be delivered too... was just wondering as don't get these visits.... overall RA are very confusing... no rhyme or reason to many of their visits and the payments etc too! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I applied for one recently. Florist was a five minute walk from my house - was looking forward to a free fancy bouquet. RA e-mailed me:

Unfortunately when trying to order your flowers your address does not come up. The system will not allow us to have a delivery from that florist. Unfortunately this is an (client name) system error, not ours.

Please can you complete the rest of your report as a failed visit so enter no or n/a in each box for the delivery part.

Please upload any pictures for the flower pictures and submit your report.

We can then still pay you for the first part.

I was well gutted! Got a fiver though.

I did a visit today to a shop that specialises in selling goods on credit. I found it pretty much impossible to get served. Lots of staff, no customers and it appeared I was totally invisible.

It may have been I was obviously not the demographic they were looking for. I gave up and aborted the visit. As a genuine customer I would have bailed even earlier. Anyway, lesson learned, I'm not doing one of them again!

These covert price captures for ESA are a con, not only do they expect you to do it without permission, they send you back to the store for no pay take photographs of products they think should be something else.
Actually, those ones are ok, in my experience. I've done holiday cover on them. The staff in store have given tacit agreement, you go in, photo the whole section (which is only a couple of bays) and then take the prices from the photos. And the pay was ok.

This seems to be a whole new kettle of fish. And I know how stroppy the management can be in these places. As I said, it's not for me.

Has anyone else taken up the offer?

Fragmented payment from RA (seems only for DIY visits)

Me too. And just think of all those freebies from the board game promotion. I had a bonanza this year. My stomach is groaning at the thought of using them all before they expire._pale_

I haven't given up on them either - in fact I did an urgent job yesterday. I haven't been paid though. I got an email saying date would be confirmed next week. They must be rolling it out in stages.

Well, every possible type of job has come out of the woodwork for me at the end of this week. I've booked an entire week's work for next week, don't recall it being this good since Aug/ Sept last year! Here's hoping it picks up from here because I was about to jack it all in for a real job.

Also picked up a RA pharmacy for double fee, as they were desperate this afternoon!
