I got a modest payment - but I know what it was for!

Did you do something which involved contacting someone without visiting them?

It sounds like the same payment but I haven't had any of those assignments for months.

I also wouldnt ever ask for anything free, even in jest.

If you give a bad rating for anything, they will bring it up guaranteed.
You should be impartial and I never accept free drinks from places even in overt audits unless its a hot/long day and professionally acceptable in the circumstances rather than risk being seen as a bribe

I'm with you on this one. I do a lovely, regular, monthly overt audit for GfK. Every time I visit, the manager asks me if I want a tea or coffee, and every time I say no. He's a really nice bloke but I'd never put myself in any compromising position that could undermine my report and threaten payment of my, rather nice premium.

its amazing how much work gfk really has!,you wouldn't think it by checking their board, there seems to be a lot of other work being dished out.

Dont they have two types of workers ie 'casuals' and and audit team who get more regular work? I only see whats on the board but have seen adverts for auditors who can do regular hours.

It would be nice if GFK sent out a newsletter occasionally with news and updates to associates as I always feel I am dealing with a 'machine' as you never get any communication from them.

Funny you should say that, I've just seen them advertising on Indeed for door to door market researchers.

I dunno, I just know I have never seen any overt regular audits on the board as ment, so they must have casuals, casual+ and auditors.

It's worth looking at the gfk home page once logged in as projects are posted on there rather than job board.
