I've been working for gap for a little over a month now but all i ever get are the golden arches. We have a several chicken shops and pizza places in my city but these never come up. I check the website most days and can see pizza places in other cities but not in my area. I wondered if as they are franchises they don't cover them all and perhaps another ms company does the ones in my area. Does anyone know if this is the case?

I think I will give the React hospital catering a miss. Three fifths of the fee would go in car parking fees as you have to use the hospital car park. Fee seems low too me as the report sounds long....

Thankfully we don't pay for hospital parking up here.

The reports are not that bad, lots of check boxes and buttons with only a few comments needed.

You won't see any chicken shops for a while, if ever.
Pizza is funny sometimes they go right away sometimes they stick, GAP do have their favs too and are known to offer other shops as a bride to get the burger shops done.

Oh so they've lost the chicken contract then? I used to do them years ago when Frontline Focus had the chicken contract and was looking forward to doing them again.

I don't think GAP have many shoppers in my area as the burgers hang around for ages until they add the premiums. That's why i'm surprised i've never seen a pizza one as i'd have thought that they'd hang around too.

I'm not sure if there's a lack of GAP shoppers in my area, or if the delayed payments are putting people of shopping with them, but I've never had so many e-mails and phone calls from them, asking me to do short notice jobs.

I certainly don't mind as the premiums I'm getting are pretty tasty........as long as they pay up :o

In just over 1 year, I've only ever seen 1 pizza job in my area, yet there must be at least 3 of their restaurants local to me......and I've never seen them done by any other MS company.

I get occasional delivery ones, but you need to be in the right postcode. I've never had a dine in.

The delivery ones are strange. Sometimes you don't get enough to pay what you need to order and other times with a special offer on it can be ok. That might influence whether people book them or not.

I pick and choose jobs without a cash element. I'm doing this mainly for some extra cash and partly to stretch myself out of a comfort zone. I don't see it as my own personal food bank. I'll leave that to the students.

Have I missed something here? Where in the brief does it say you have to use the hospital car park?

The only place you can park for the hospital in my area is the hospital car park. There is no on street parking in the vicinity as there are yellow lines everywhere. The hospital car park is therefore very expensive as a consequence. Not worth doing IMHO unless you work there and have a staff permit.

Ahh - so you don't have to use the car park. You choose to use the car park.

Assuming I have understood your location correctly, your local hospital is perfectly walkable from either of the two towns it serves (and which are quoted in its name).
