This is what has upset him "I went to a M&S in a hospital recently (nothing to do with MS so hopefully ok to name) and the receipt stated that it was operated by WH Smith Travel Ltd."

I wouldn't get upset about it as the information is in the public domain and no one elected him forum policeman.

I did two shops for them in early Feb. Still no payments.
How long after the job have people been paid in general?

Around the 26th of the following month so should be hitting accounts by end of the week, paypal is sometimes a little sooner.

I'm looking to visit a telecommunications store on Easter Sunday... what are the chances of it being open!? As it affects my visit dates if it is it's greatly helpful.

Can't really phone and ask or they'll know to be careful on Easter Sun - who plans a visit specifically for that day!
I'm sure by law they not allowed due to the religious holiday
only in a seaside town under a certain size.

Are you able to adjust your expense claim? I've taken a job that's going to make a loss if I claim 45p a mile (as I have for all other jobs). Could I claim say 20p for this (actual cost of petrol, and forget about servicing etc) and then back up to 45p? Otherwise it's going to go through as a loss, which I'm sure they'd be more funny about!

As I don't pay tax either way, the income doesn't affect me so it's not like I'm trying to reduce my profit artificially (and I wouldn't get hit by not claiming expenses). I just don't want to set a precedent for when I do pay tax (next year)

Have you checked their website? They may have the easter opening times listed.
Yep, nothing there yet. It's a bit early so I'll keep checking :)
